“Fantastic Lunch at SeD Cocina

My wife and I stopped by SeD Cocina for lunch after seeing a video showcasing their food, and we're glad we decided to give it a try. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the quaint café atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, and had a warm, inviting feel.

The staff greeted us right away and made us feel genuinely welcomed. We didn't have to wait at all and were seated immediately, which made for a great start to our visit.

To begin, we shared the esquite, which was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. It was the perfect appetizer to get our meal started.

For my entrée, I ordered the Chile Relleno Burrito with Carne Asada. The carne asada was perfectly seasoned, and I loved the lightly grilled exterior of the burrito, which added great texture and flavor.

My wife ordered the Chilaquiles Verdes, and they were exceptional easily some of the best we've had. The flavors were balanced perfectly, and it was a standout dish of the meal.

The salsas were also very tasty and complemented the food well. My only suggestion would be to offer a spicier salsa option for those of us who enjoy a little more heat.

Overall, the experience was amazing. Great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu!“

“We were visiting from out of town and found this gem! Food is made fresh for you! Nothing was precooked. Therefore, it takes a bit longer to get served. However, once it come out it’s hot and delicious! We scarfed out food down and didn’t take pictures. We had the steak pambazo and the Quesabirria player. I can’t emphasize the freshness but f their food. The tortillas for the quesabirria are made in house and they were nice and cheesy! So good!“

“The Tamales Plate: Easily the highlight of the meal. The chicken tamales are large and generous with the meat. The masa is perfectly moist, not dry at all, and the rice and beans are delicious.

The Flavors: Both the Chilaquiles (Rojos and Verdes) and the breakfast burrito tasted really good.

Food Presentation: The chilaquiles came in a bowl, but they would be much better served on a flat plate. I also prefer when the chips are tossed and mixed with the sauce, rather than just having the sauce poured on top. Also, the breakfast burrito looks quite different from its picture on the menu.

Ambiance: The indoor seating area looks like it still needs some finishing touches and decor updates. Luckily, they have a nice outdoor seating area which is a great option.

Value: The prices are on the higher side. The agua fresca cup feels a bit small for the price, and a family of five should expect to spend over $100 here.

Overall, the kitchen knows what it is doing because the flavors are great. With a few tweaks to the presentation and the indoor setup, this place will be amazing!“

“This place is the real deal food is phenomenal I love that they make fresh tortillas in front of you the Aqua Freesca are all delicious and there deserts and salsa are on point you won't be disappointed“

“Had no expectations, but tried this place out with a basic bean rice and cheese burrito. Beans with creamy, had plenty of cheese, and the rice was cooked perfectly. Not sure if the tortillas are made in house, but it tasted like it. If you want some good Mexican food on the go or to hang out for a beat, definitely try Ramiro's.“

“Overall I'll still give them a good review but the old man who was there 8/8/26 1:30am seems like he hates his job. He seems upset that anyone is there. His facial expressions and the way he talks to you. I've dealt with him before and it's always the same. Luckily it's rare for him to be at the register, I think he's a cook. I'm not positive on that though. Other than him other cashiers are great especially the buff dud.“

“The staff and food is great every time. Thank you all for your professionalism and keeping the place clean and the food tasting great. However,.... the music in the store has GOT TO CHANGE! I'm a regular here at this place as a driver for foothill transit who spends his time and money here. I practically know every song, the words and which one comes on next. It's played out and annoying. Please fix this issue. Im seriously over it 😒 and if I were an employee here. I'd probably hate my job. Lol
