Really good barbacoa and menudo was very tasty as well
We were visiting from out of town and found this gem! Food is made fresh for you! Nothing was precooked. Therefore, it takes a bit longer to get served. However, once it come out it’s hot and delicious! We scarfed out food down and didn’t take pictures. We had the steak pambazo and the Quesabirria player. I can’t emphasize the freshness but f their food. The tortillas for the quesabirria are made in house and they were nice and cheesy! So good!
Always great experience here! The food is fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly—definitely some of the best Barbacoa in town! Place is very clean and spacious.

La Tia Mexican Restaurant y Taqueria is a cozy spot known for its incredible, homemade Mexican food full of flavor and sazón. The food has a great homemade taste, with bomb dishes like the pambazo with carne asada, carne asada plates, menudo, tacos, quesadillas, and barbacoa. Particular standouts include the perfectly cooked carnitas, which is tender and crispy, and the excellent grilled chicken burrito. They serve handmade tortillas, and their salsa bar is a must, featuring a large variety with sooo many options to choose from, including pickled onions, carrots, and jalapeños. Their salsa game is better than average.
Portions are good, with delicious beans and rice, though the rice can sometimes be a bit dry. The guacamole is fresh, and they give generous portions of chips. The staff is nice and provides little cups for the salsas. The decor is cute, and you can tell they put a lot of heart into the restaurant. It can get pretty busy, and with a small staff, there is often a longer wait, but the food is worth it. This place is growing for a reason and is a highly recommended go-to for some of the best Mexican food in the area.
