My husband and I ordered a plate of chilaquiles and the other of egg with chorizo and scrambled nopales, accompanied by fried beans with fresh cheese, on the side pico de gallo (onion, tomato and cilantro) and French fries/hash brown, everything was very Well. Excellent service and I loved the atmosphere, they have televisions with the volume low so you can talk if you are accompanied. The restaurant is very clean. I recommend it. ??

Sammy's will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the choice spot for a dear friend of mine and his mom. We always tried to take his mom (a sweet, quiet Latina lady) out to eat with us, to which she would say, "No, I don't like to eat out." Then we would say, "But it's Sammy's..." and she'd say, "Oh, Sammy's? Ok, let's go." We created some beautiful memories here, both at this location and the other one on Euclid. This location was great for my son when he was little because of all the classic cars references around the restaurant. I still recognize some of the staff when I come back six years later. A very special place with some great dishes.

Friendly place and great food, but the prices online are *not* up to date. So be prepared to spend around 5 more dollars on each dish.

Good food at fair prices. This location is on most credit card rewards programs.

I had the open face turkey sandwich, the mashed potatoes were home made but I didn't care too much for the gravy...

My pa and I went here, and we were served immediately. The waitress and server were very kind and constantly checking to see if we needed anything and very friendly.I order a chicken pot pie and it was delicious. Very hearty and large portion. This and the navey bean soup were the highlights of the meal. I also had the strawberry creapes with sausage and scrambled eggs. Everything was great, and my pa enjoyed his meal which was fresh fruit, and sandwich which contained bacon, 3 types of cheeses, and tomatoes. The atmosphere was nice, seeing the mural on the wall of the near by mountains, and decor talking about the city, route 66 and what it was like back in the day. Plus many toy cars around. It reminds me of theDisney movie cars and radiator springs. I would love to come back again.
