We had another wonderful meal at The Penney on Friday night. The service from Janessa and Kristy was friendly, efficient and warm. The food was delicious, highlights being the mushroom dip and the whole fish (this may have been a special) and the incredible chocolate pudding. Excellent mocktails too! The jazz band provided fun background music and fit really well with the ambiance and setting. We felt thoroughly spoilt!
The band was playing and dancing was happening when we were there for dinner. It was fun, but probably better to sit on the terrace if you want to have conversation with your table mates. Otherwise, the service was top notch. My dinner was the Steak Diane which was delicious. My friends ordered the scallops risotto and Jidori chicken which they said was good. My Tiramisu Espresso martini was delicious, but my two friends said their extra dirty martinis were not as good as they...
we went for the music and to hear “fun with Dick and jane” which were fabulous as always so it was loud but it's supposed to be.  I had the brussels sprouts and a salad, both were very good. I think the wait staff was a bit overloaded with all the people that showed up, but we all got fed happily.
