Nice dinner of Cottage Pie. Shepherds pie only made with ground beef. Didn't have reservations, so no tables were available without a wait. We sat and ate at the bar. We were comfortable. Friendly atmosphere. Food and cocktails were excellent. Recommend.
We had a large group 15 people & was told they couldn't do separate bills but could do 3 bills. So we divided up the group for 3 bills. But at end of evening they would only do 2 bills. That was really rough since most were using credit cards to pay. That really wasn't right.

Went mostly just for drinks, but the basket of fries were good and there was a three piece sausage roll that was okay. Beers were nice and cold and the entertainment was good. Someone told us it was very expensive so we didn't go in for the past three years. That was a mistake. The prices were not bad and it's a great bar! I'll go back again.
