Portions huge for croissant well worth the price, made with love.
Still best in the valley wish I lived closer. Love the owners, the atmosphere BEST DONUT shop in the valley. Always fresh, always yummy. Croissant sandwiches aren’t greasy and super fresh, Thai tea is real Thai tea (if you know what I mean) like at a good Thai restaurant. Wall art created by the fam that runs it, is super entertaining and well created, anime art my fav 👾“

“I've been going here since Middle School in 1992. Im not sure who owned it back then as I was child and I didn't clock things like that back then. The current proprietor Nick is a beautiful wonderful human being with an equally beautiful wonderful family. They are always warm friendly. When the kids were younger I would go regularly and Nick would greet with a smile at 5 something in the morning and ask how am I and would I like some coffee. I love Nick more than the perfect delicious donuts he masterfully makes every morning. If I could healthwise devour his donuts daily I would. Do yourself a solid have some of his donuts. The savory croissants with ham jalapeño and cheese yeeesh can't keep em around long enough. When I bring em home they don't survive the initial hour. Bless you and your family Nick.“

“I picked up some donuts for a few of our clients, but I struggled to carry all the boxes. Kenny noticed my difficulty and kindly offered to assist, despite being occupied with clients. Fortunately, some gentlemen also noticed my predicament and helped me transport all the donut boxes to my car in one trip.“
“Today I was Passing through and stopped to go in. I haven't had Winchell's brand donuts in decades. My childhood favorite. I ordered a dozen donuts to go. The store was very clean. The young lady working the store was helpful and chipper. Great experience. When I got home and had my first donut, exactly how I remember, delicious,.“

“Is anyone going to talk about the fact that donut shops like Winchell’s are charging Starbucks prices for their drip coffee? Why are we charging $2.69 for a small drip coffee when it costs literally 50 cents to make and is 95% water. When I shop at Ross I don’t expect Bloomingdale prices and when I shop at Winchelle’s I don’t expect Starbucks prices.“

“One of the best and least expensive donut shops in the area. I love both the food and the excellent service. The donuts are all baked freshly in the early morning hours. Their selection is second to none. I like their donuts better than Dunkin's or Winchell's. I believe that it is a family run operation. So they take extra pride in running a very clean and excellent business. I highly recommend this place if you are a lover of all types of donuts. May they be in business many more years.“

“Damn fine donuts. Reminds me of the day when Americans were fat.
I want to wake up...
Have a coffee... Black. Bitter. Hot. Um.
Grab a French cruller... Sweet. Melts. The hole. My drifts... All the holes I've been. Literally... metaphorically... physically emotionally... Bottomless... Sweaty and wet. So yum
I read my paper... The Times. Endangered if not extinct. Krinkle. Ink black and white and red all over.... Like a Dalmatian on the shoulder of the highway.
I light cigarette. 9:13 on my Timex. I think it's Friday. Off to work I scurry... I'm late. Maybe an hour... I don't know.
I start thinking about that delicious donut. I think about holes. I think of deeznuts. To hell with work. I go to the massage parlor.“

“Just your very unassuming donut shop where you can get the tastiest fresh donuts in Palm Desert. If I delay going there in the morning chances are there won’t be any of the yummy glazed and frosted donuts that I especially like. By early afternoon there’s a pretty sparse assortment left in the case. When I manage to get there early enough, there are frequent customers buying boxes of the delicious donuts. I have an urge to pop over there now but will have to wait til morning—he closes every day in the afternoon or when his donut case is emptied out. If you’re in the neighborhood some morning stop in and get a few donuts.“

“Hands down the best mom&pop donut ? shop in the desert! The storefront is humble, but inside you’ll find fresh donuts that are sweet, fluffy, and delish! The photos don’t do them justice. They also have croissants, bagels, apple fritters, buttermilk bars, etc. The new owners (2024) are super nice and strikingly professional. We always stop here on our way to La Quinta. Worth it! ?
Parking: Small parking lot but plenty of spaces. There’s also curb parking behind the building if you want to avoid potential door dings.“
