I have ever had and the owner fan is the best most happy guy super sweet always throws in something special I'm a regular of sorts when I come out here every 2 months I'm here and still get special treatment and I am always remembered the best taro tea I have ever had everything is top notch great doughnuts breakfast sandwiches coffee tea service I highly highly recommend this place if you do not go your missing out it's worth the time trust me you will be glad you did ?“

“Great little place that is easy to miss if you don’t look up. The donuts are always fresh and tasty in this Winchells. The owner is a very nice woman who, particularly at this time, needs everyone’s help in making sure her business survives. I love to go here at least once a week.“

“We come to Palm Springs every year and this has been our stop for donuts. We have four boys ages 8-18. I gauge how good donuts are by them and how fast the box empties. These donuts are always gone in under a minute. Grocery store donuts?? I don’t get that at all. We just made our stop about 15 minutes ago and the quality is still there. The boys will attest to how good they tasted. All of the donuts were soft and fresh.I did take a star off for the inside, or more specifically, the area behind the case. It is empty looking and in disarray. I do miss the petite woman that was always behind the counter. She was always so sweet to my boys when we would come in. It also seemed to be in good order behind the counter. Not a huge deal but loses a star for that unfortunately. Still, we recommend for the donuts.“

“Oh, Jelly Donut. If I could write a novel, I would. But I’ll get to the point. I’ve been coming to this spot for over two decades. I’m by no means a regular, but the owner and his wife seem to treat me like I am. Every. Time. Their service is always so welcoming and they deserve the world. Bar none. Beats any restaurant, diner, shop, etc.

I don’t just take service into account as to why I love this place so much. Whenever asked, “Where are the best donuts out here?” Or “What are the best donuts I’ve ever had?” My answer, with God as my witness is this:

“Jelly Donut. On Vista Chino and Sunrise. Near the Albertsons and (now, steel) gym.”

These donuts are not your typical Swiss donut, winchells, or gas station donuts. No no. You can feel the underside crust, the right amount of sugar, the dough itself feels so much more fresh than anywhere else, it doesn’t leave a weird after taste like others do. And trust me, I’ve looked high and low for a donut as good as this place.

Locals, please continue to support this wonderful shop. Tourists/Snowbirds. Do yourself a favor and stop by to pick yourself up some of the best donuts you’ll ever eat.

“One of the best and least expensive donut shops in the area. I love both the food and the excellent service. The donuts are all baked freshly in the early morning hours. Their selection is second to none. I like their donuts better than Dunkin's or Winchell's. I believe that it is a family run operation.
