I stopped by after work for dinner. I had great service and a comfortable atmosphere. I ordered a salad and a curry dish with chicken and peanuts.
The food was very fresh and there was enough for 2 .
I will be back again

Great food, very friendly staff. I've been to many Thai restaurants here in the valley and Uncle Chai never fails to deliver, the food in consistently great.

They have the best pad Thai here. Some of my other favorites from this restaurant are the pad see ew, tom ka gai, and Kra pow. The service has been great and I’ve been eating here regularly since I’ve discovered the place .

It may not look like much, but the food and service here are amazing. We got several dishes and shared - I would eat everything all over again. The owner was super sweet as well. Highly recommend if you want authentic delicious Thai food.

IMO, the best Thai in the area. As was explained to us, 'street food' means fewer ingredients, but fresh and of high quality. Give it a try.

I’m on a mission to find truly authentic Asian cuisine in the Coachella Valley. So far, every place I’ve tried seems to drift away from its roots to cater to the American palate by adding unnecessary sweetness. Not every savory dish needs sugar, and it takes away from the integrity of the flavors.
This restaurant could be something great if they stayed true to the original style. Unfortunately, the fried rice was dry and lacked flavor, the chicken was bland, and while the shumai itself was good, the soy sauce was overly sweet and didn’t complement it well.
Please keep it authentic.

Quite a pleasant surprise. Good place to eat if you love thai food. Very authentic taste with nice spice. The noodles were amazing, rice, thai tea. Everything. One of the best restaurants in the area

Best Thai in the Greater Palm Springs area by far! Tucked away in the Shops in Rancho Mirage mall… once you find it it’s worth it!

Excellent food! I really like the location inside the little strip mall. Doesn’t seem like there’s a lot of business in that mall so I hope it stays open. Their food is delicious, and they’re very nice there. Most recently my mother, who’s a little older ordered some food that was too spicy so we had to order another order of it to go, but that was just her ordering it too spicy. Their food is great! Will be going back very soon. I’ll have to make sure my mom doesn’t order it too spicy’

Best Thai food around. The flavors are amazing. Everyone is friendly and I love going to the atrium. Can do some antiquing while I’m there. I got the drunken noodle. It’s out of this world.
