1. Vibes and Services
Okay, first of all, we live like walking 2 minute distance from this place. We always passed by and never visited here for some reason. AND WE GOT SO ANGRY THAT WE DIDNT UNTIL NOW.
At first when you walk in, this place was already packed, maybe first round dinner rush getting done. Staffs will greet you with delicious chips, salsa, and my favorite homemade guac.
Warning: they will refill your chips and salsa without asking. While they are incredibly good, don’t eat too much!!
2. Food
So my wife is a homecooked meal person. She wouldn’t compliment restaurant meal because she can cook better (and she can actually).
She ordered Caldo de Rez, I ordered Carnitas, and my son had chicken soft tacos.
At first sip of the soup, she went “WOW” and told a staff “THIS IS REALLY GOOD.” She kept complimenting all the food we ordered every single bite.
Caldo de Rez was clean, deep, and flavorful. We were very surprised how there was almost zero oil and yet meat was soft.
Carnitas was on point too. Whatever they put in to bring the classic carintas meat taste was simply amazing.
Chicken taco was smooth, comfortable, and basically AMAZING.
3. Price
After all 3 food, we had left over. After tax, it was $50!!! Can’t complaint whatsoever.
4. Comment
Im just grateful for this spot. We are going to return here to eat other menus. Maybe tortas and menudo? SIMPLY AMAZING!!!
I finally found the best Mexican restaurant located in the San Pedro area! This is the closest you'll get to an authentic home cooked meal! I enjoyed their Mole burrito with their home cooked sauce. The family had their Asada fries, Fajita shrimp, and Tamal. I'm looking forward to their Enchilada plate.
Quaint little restaurant. Nothing too exciting.
Great food, great location. Very quiet and mellow atmosphere. Seems like a hole in the wall but its great.
I pick up from Maria's regularly, and food is always great!

Delicious cuisine ?
I ordered two cheese enchiladas dinner plate. The food was so fresh. This is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in LA area. Also, I was able to chat with the owners, and I have to say, they were so friendly and upbeat!!
I will definitely be coming back.

Got excellent carne asada and green chili tostadas to go. Both come with crema and guacamole. Both very tender and flavorful. Are served on corn chips, so is more like a really good nachos. Excellent salsas on the side.

It is a little expensive for an assuming tucked away Mexican restaurant, but the food is absolutely tasty, and the employees are very attentive and accommodating.

Great food - try the Fajitas Trio. The shrimp, beef, and chicken were excellent, and the tortillas were really good. My grandkids loved that they could order breakfast in the afternoon - they loved the pancakes.
