I have been taking ceramics classes here for 3 years. It's outstanding. Very well-run studio with lots of space, top quality equipment. The instructors are excellent, very knowledgeable and anxious to help you improve. The other students are a lot of fun to be with and are also very supportive and encouraging. Very reasonably priced classes. There are also lots of events, and gallery shows. It's a great resource for the community.
The hub for art in its many forms in the South Bay. The gift shop offers a wide selection of creativity in ceramics, glass, wood and fiber art. Bronze art and pictures in many styles, including artistic cards and jewelry. A great place to find a gift for that special person. Parking and admission free.
Love going to this museum. The location isn't the easiest of places because it's inside the Beverly center mall, but once you're there it's incredible. I've been a few times and the last time i went they allowed us to do a small photo shoot session for a private Indian clothing designer. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
