I personally believe that good food alone won't necessarily = a successful business. The fish here is great, I won't deny that. I've gotten the salmon and really loved it. The spicy crab and the fried garlic and fried onion is also delicious as is their rice! The biggest problem I have with this place is their pricing, portion size and service.Firstly, it's $13.99 for a MINI bowl. With the tiiiiiniest scoop of rice and an even tinier portion of fish. It's seriously the smallest portion I've ever seen at a poke place. It tastes GREAT so the pricing is really unfortunate.Secondly, the Asian man with tattoos who either manages the place or works here is SO RUDE. I dealt with him both times I've been here and both times he is very rude, curt and could give a hoot about customer service. I asked him a question and he just pointed at the board. If I ask for extra sauce he acts like I'm asking for his firstborn child lol. Just a really unpleasant experience dealing with this man and from the other reviews it seems that there's another person who works here with an even worse attitude. I wonder why the owners hire people who knowingly damage your business? TL;DR, Great poke bowls but not sure if worth price and awful service.

Server “Brian Rodriguez” skimped on the proteins and the green onions. The fact I had to ask multiple times for more but to get a very tiny scoop every time was annoying. Not coming back to Poke Me. Used to be good but not anymore. Also, no more yellowtail but that costed extra. The food doesn’t even fill the container. Server was skimping by weighing the fish after each protein (he barely put in any tuna, about 3-4 cubes to count as 1 protein). You’re better off at an ayce sushi place for good value. “Happy hour” for only $1.50 off was not worth it as well.

The food was delicious and fresh. My only complaint is their young female employee (Mac or Max?) who is the rudest I've ever encountered in my entire life. I don't usually leave a review that is negative but this is how much she effected me. I'm looking on Yelp and seeing so many other negative reviews about the same girl so I know it wasn't just me, nor was it because she was just having a bad day. She is VERY kirt and disrespectful. As soon as we walked in she said, "what do you want?", with the most annoyed voice. She made me feel badly for bothering her. Isn't this her job? I get it. Who wants to be working, but her boss needs to know about her poor people skills. Now I avoid going in when I see her through the window. They are losing business because of this particular individual, and definitely need to let her go.

Tried again and Brian Rodriquez skimped on the fish and the toppings. Had to keep asking for more green onions and he barely put any tuna pieces (3-4 pieces for 1 count of protein). Well never returning. Better off at an ayce sushi place

Came in at 11am, and got a simple bowl. They skimp you on your scoop portions, barely got any fish in my bowl. Not only that, I was the first customer of the day, and the japanese guy with tattoos working the counter was rude to me. Don't spend your money here!

The food was disappointing considering this was highly rated on yelp. I got a build your own bowl and so did my mom. She said hers was really good and had lots of flavor and good amounts of protein and other toppings. Mine, however was not so good. My food smelled like dirty socks. I think it was the albacore tuna. I got one portion of salmon and 2 albacore, and it was grey. The avocado was mushy like it was sitting out all day. Maybe we will try another place next time.

Hi! I have tried calling your location today 10 times to speak with the owner and manager with no luck of anyone answering the phone. So I am resorting to leaving you a message about what happened yesterday.I walked in to the store at 7:29pm to order my poke bowl. Upon walking in, there was a girl working there who told me that they were closed. I asked what time they closed at and she said 730. I asked her to tell me what time is currently was and she said 7:31 PM. I noticed that all the food was still out and they still had yet to clean up and close the restaurant so I asked her if she would accommodate me and allow me to order a bowl she replied with, "no, I have a life and things to do". I was completely flabbergasted by her lack of Customer Service . I asked her , "if her manager was available for me to speak with". she said, "no., but we are closed so leave now".I was debating whether or not to say anything - but kids these days not taught manners or customer service. And if I don’t tell her what she did was not okay then who will? So I proceeded to let her know that I had worked in customer service for years and that her response was absolutely unacceptable and not the way you treat a customer. Her response was, "this is how you're talking to a 17-year-old"? I asked her what her name was and she said it was Mac. I told her that I would try to call her manager so that her manager could help coach her with working with the public and customer service because what she showed me was absolutely awful and disrespectful. There was a guy working with her and I looked at him and apologized for him having to work with her.I am so disappointed by how she treated me, it was appalling. Also, if you were closed the door should have been locked. I hope you train and teach this teenager how to work with the public because because I refuse to give money to a restaurant where I will be getting treated poorly. This type of service will make your business loose customers. Good luck with training.
