Swan Thai RPV

Service is Swan Thai's biggest problem. Our service was clueless. We expected to be served soup first, then main courses, but this waitress could not manage that idea. My companion's Lettuce Cups came first. They were supposed to be her 'main course' but were just slapped down on the table. She accepted the order because she anticipated a problem if they had to serve the Lettuce Cups again, later in the meal. But we asked where was the soup we had ordered as a starter. A few minutes later, Tom Ka soup arrived. It was delicious. We had barely gotten into the soup, when my bowl of white rice was put on the table. and several minutes after that, while we were still enjoying the soup, my main course arrived. At that point, we rushed to finish the soup. I ended up with cold rice to accompany cool-ish main course stir fry. Lousy service. Not customer oriented. I expect to eat and finish a warm, freshly prepared starter followed by a main course after I finish the starter. Anything other than that is barbaric. What we got was "barbaric service" which I consider unacceptable. Another waitress noticed our distress and came over to try to make it right, but it just wasn't right ... whatever she offered was "too little, too late." I'll come back once more; if the service is still lousy, that'll be the end.

We had a great experience overall. The host promptly confirmed our reservation and had us seated right away. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food and views from our table were also top notch.

The food was good, the ambiance and views are great, and the staff are excellent. Our waitress and host were not only super friendly but helped me surprise my girlfriend for her birthday with her favorite dessert (mango sticky rice) which I ordered ahead of time.

Food is not comparable to other thai restaurant. Basic taste. The only great is the sunset in PV

We are not fans. Have tried swan Thai 5 times now. Each time seemed more disappointing. They really need a quality control person because the consistency is terrible.
We have dined in 3 times and has delivery 2 times. Both deliverys were missing parts of our order and not what we ordered. No sorting rolls arrived with food. I called back and their remedy was free spring rolls next time, pathetic. 2nd time they delivered someone else's food. Took an hour for then to fix and re deliver our order. Dining in the service is hitt and miss. Left at table after seated for over ten mins. No waiter check in, no water dropped. Chicken pieces found in vegetarian dish. Cold curry arrived at table. The list goes on.
This place has fantastic views. The food is meh. We have given up.

It was my birthday (noted in the reservation), but the staff did not acknowledge it. Usually, restaurants have something to offer guests for a memorable experience. The food was okay. The beef didn't taste fresh and was tough to chew. I really liked the mango milk tea. The view and ambience are nice, so it is still worth the visit.

The service was good but the wait for the food after we placed our order was pretty lengthy. I'm not sure if they forgot our order or if they were backed up in the kitchen, but it took 20 minutes for us to receive the first dish (appetizer soup).

Everything is good but only need to bigger umbrella canopies 🙂 But thanks all staff 🌺 they are so kinds.

Our whole family loves the food at Swan Thai, and the location and outdoor seating are perfect. Very kind and helpful server as well. Highly recommend :)

Great location with view of ocean.
Ordered salad, 3 vegan dishes from main menu nu and one non-veg lunch option. All the dishes were a little sweet, even tom yum soup that came with non-veg dishes. The 3 vegan dishes tasted basically the same and were all too “liquidy”. Would not come again.
