Wonderful as always. Service and food at the highest level. However closing in August after many years. Heartbroken. Best wishes to all staff.
We will miss the risty when it closes. Years of special family dinners and celebrations were enjoyed here.
A perfect restaurant in a perfect setting. I've enjoyed it many many times with friends and family from happy hour sunsets to birthdays, food and service has always been 5-🌟. I find it very sad they're closing in August, please say it's not so! 1st Port O'Call and now the Admiral, HUGE BUMMER!
Great food, great service. Great ambience. So sorry it's closing: (
I've had many experiences at Admiral Risty spanning 40 years. This is a local family restaurant for many, having her own rich history, just as she has been a large part of my & multitudes of other families' history. My experiences have varied greatly, & my rating prior was not representative of the sum of those over the years. Above average is the lowest rating of any individual visit, with excellent as the heavier weighted of the sum. I cannot exclude my subjective nostalgia as a factor when I proudly hoist a spinnaker bearing 5 well-earned & deserved stars.
Classic place located in a very nice area. Has a lot of charm. Food is good and reasonably priced. Good for family or dates.
Great seafood restaurant with one of the best sunset views. We are now on the fourth generation going there. Fish is always fresh, cooked perfectly and whatever style you like. If you are not sure how to have the fish prepared ask your server, most have many years experience at the restaurant. Most fish meals are $40-50. Meals are filling and include soup/salad, vegetables, potatoe/rice. Also has a full bar.
This is one of my Top 5 restaurants! I love it and I'm so sad it's closing! We have so many great memories and milestones here as well. I'm glad we will have nothing but great memories of this Amazing restaurant! I'll cry when it closes!
Food was delicious. Service impeccable. A bit pricey. Too bad they couldn't renew their lease due to unaffordable price increase and will close in August 2019. Go there while you still can! It's worth it for a special occasion.
A forever favorite dinner place with top notch service & cuisine.. 1st choice especially for special occasions.

Great food, people and atmosphere and oh sooo much fun!
Upon arriving there, no host/hostess said anything to my party for nearly ten minutes until one of us went searching for a host/hostess. After waiting almost 20 minutes for our reserved table to be ready, we were led through a smelly bar with a free for all cheese bar that looked like it had been sitting out all day. The table we were seated at was extremely flimsy and none of us could put our arms on the table without it tipping dangerously. The bread was cold and the butter was impossible to spread. The menu was lack luster and slightly confusing. The meat offerings had not listing of ounces and a mystery Neptune Beef that had no description as to what it was. The side Cesar salad came first and was drenched in dressing that tasted mostly of vinegar. Once I received my steak, it was slightly cold and had absolutely no flavor. The rest of my party seemed to enjoy the lobster, but none touched the soggy vegetables on their plates. The servers seemed stretched as I often had an empty water glass in front of me for quite while before someone refilled it. Over all I would not recommend anyone to go to this outdated restaurant obviously riding long lost attention.
The view is great. Food is just okay. I have eaten at the AR many times. Have eaten at many elegant restaurants all over the world. Over priced cocktails and the smallest glasses have ever seen. I have been to restaurant supply stores to find a duplicate to no avail. The cocktail glasses are somewhere between a shot glass and a 3/4 cup measurer. The amount paid to the return is not there. Good luck in retirement or other enterprises.
