We had the lobster tacos. It was horrible. The lobster was rubbery, fishy smelling, and dry. The chips tasted stale, the salsa bland and not spicy at all. The rice and beans good and that’s all we ate. The albondiga soup adequate but there was too much rice. That should be served separately and with cilantro and lime, not enough vegetables and the meatballs were tiny and tasted old. On the positive the waitress and hostess were kind, inviting, welcoming but the food sadly was horrible. I’d go for drinks and maybe try appetizers or a salad for the atmosphere, but not sure 🤔 They need to taste all their dishes and see what the cook is putting out to their customers. Note: they did graciously take off one of the lobster taco plates $26 as a courtesy and did apologize to us. It was our first visit, likely our last. I felt bad for taking my elderly parents there for my step dad’s 88th birthday. I should have vetted it first.

The alambre sizzling fajita platter was quite amazing. No one person could ever eat it alone.

The shift manager on 08-16-25 at4:00 greeted us. We r regular customers we love to go but today we invited people from our church and the manager didn’t want to give us separate checks. We were charged an additional 20% despite being seated in two groups of four and not together.

I ordered online and arrived to pickup my order.
After 10 minutes the manger finally figured out the order was taken by a delivery service by mistake.
There was no apology, I was told they’re very busy with 15 tables and they could remake my order or refund me.
It was explained to me that the mistake was by the person who pickup the order, not the restaurant, so there was nothing more for them to do.
They didn’t take any responsibility for making sure the appropriate orders were being sent with the delivery service versus pickup orders.

Their indifference was astounding. They simply didn’t care.

Really good Mexican restaurant in a small plaza in Rancho Santa Fe. Generous portions, good quality food. Very tasty appetizers. The Margarita flight was great.

Worst Mexican food I had. My husband and I got sick from this food. The meat tasted weird, the tortillas were destroyed at the first bite and the agua frescas were horrible. Never going back again. What a disappointment for a place located in a nice area.

Why they say they close at 9:30 when we get there before 9 pm and it was closed it already? This happened twice with us. We had to drive in the rain rushed to get there before even9 PM and this happened again… the food is good but the it’s not worth the hurdle to get Mexican food ..

We arrived at 9 pm on a Saturday and they were already closed. They say they are open until 9:30 pm. Why say you’re open to 9:30 on the busiest day of the week and be closed at 9 pm? Very disappointing
