Great traditional with impeccable service allowing us to enjoy the ambiance of the fireplace and dining at leisurely pace.
Always fabulous food, service and ambience at this local favorite dining spot! We get to meet up with friends and neighbors while enjoying a world class experience.
From the moment we arrived at Mille Fleurs in Rancho Santa Fe, it was clear we were in for another special evening like we have experienced since 2006 when we first dine there. The dining room is elegant yet warm, with soft lighting and thoughtful details that make you feel both pampered and at home. Service was impeccable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic. Every course was a delight. We started with a beautifully balanced appetizer of Deviled Eggs topped with caviar, Escargot and fresh hot baguette that showcased fresh, seasonal ingredients, followed by mains that were cooked to perfection. The flavors were refined and layered, with creative pairings that felt inspired rather than contrived. Portions were generous but never heavy. .Throughout the night the pacing was relaxed, allowing conversation and savoring each dish. Pricing is in line with the quality and experience. Mille Fleurs is an outstanding choice for a special night out, a celebration, or any occasion when you want exceptional food and service. Highly recommend we'll definitely be back.
Excellent. The best white table cloth, old school restaurant. Great food and professional service.
a relaxing, pleasant restaurant with excellent service, nice play list, excellent stemware, great patio, upscale vibe. do not miss the lamb osso buco or lobster salad. also, very nice lighting. Victorio couldn't have been more welcoming or attentive and pace of food arrival is extremely professional.
The ambiance for the outdoor seating was nice. They have umbrellas to provide shade where needed. The service was decent, but nothing spectacular. Our server was not very friendly and looked unhappy. The food was pretty decent but nothing to rave about and certainly not worth the price. The best item was the clams which were perfectly cooked and had a delicious sauce. The most disappointing dish was the tomato salad which came with only a few thin slices and very simply prepared. This dish was certainly not worth $22. Lobster salad was apparently one of the most popular dishes. The salad was fresh as was the half, rather small lobster. As an entree, I was expecting a larger portion. Good thing we ordered the bread else would have left hungry. There was a 5% surcharge on top of the bill. Street parking available but was was rather difficult when we went. Overall a disappointing experience.

Outstanding service and delicious food which made for a special wedding anniversary dinner.
Beautiful setting on the patio. Impeccable service at every turn. Everything was delicious. A wonderful dining experience.
Have to check their receipt. I tried to charge them for adding extra food I didn't order, but when I pointed out the problem, their attitude surprised me. They didn't seem to understand how serious the mistake was.
The wait staff was wonderful. They did not make us feel rushed at all. It was a lovely evening with family.

Food and service of highest quality ... with an outdoor setting that made for a great evening.
Excellent food that's beautifully presented in a charming atmosphere. One star off for service. The hostess was rude. She barely greeted us while asking the guest behind us if they wanted their usual table. No smile and barely a word when seating us yet she was very friendly to regular diners. This is a miss for such a lovely local restaurant. Hire a host who treats all guests the same. Loved our server Sid! Easy parking too.
Always a great experience. Service is impeccable from start to finish. Something for everyone to eat and enjoy. Highly recommend for any dinner but also for a celebration.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a French-American restaurant called Mille Fleurs, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped inside, I was embraced by a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. The decor elegantly combined French chic with a cozy American vibe, featuring plush seating and artful lighting that made the space feel intimate and inviting. The service was impeccable. My server was attentive and friendly, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. They provided excellent suggestions from both the food and wine menus, helping me pair my meal with a lovely Pinot Noir that complemented the flavors beautifully. To conclude my dining experience, I couldn't resist trying the crème brûlée for dessert. It had the perfect caramelized sugar crust, and the creamy custard beneath was absolutely delightful. It was a fitting end to a memorable meal. Overall, Mille Fleurs offers a fantastic dining experience with its inventive menu, impeccable service, and lovely ambiance. Whether you're a fan of French cuisine, American classics, or simply looking to try something new, this restaurant is sure to impress. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the entire staff at Mille Fleur helped us celebrate. We received impeccable service and attention. The food was outstanding and they even provided boxes for leftovers--which surprised me. I highly recommend Mille Fleur for any special occasion.
