Great place! Food were amazing and the workers love what they do, I feel fantastic having my lunch here. I was alone but I enjoyed every sec of being here. 10/10!

Unfortunately I think I chose the wrong items. the apps were great, others in my party’s food looked great. I however opted for the lobster-less bisque (not a single sliver of crab in it) and the side Cesar salad, sub par. Just avoid those 2 things and you’ll be good.
Been wanting to try definitely will sit outside next time. The inside is very cold and stark. Lighting is way too bright definitely need some dimmers! Food was good not great, not a huge selection. Felt uncomfortable with the starkness. Everyone was very friendly so tyst was nice.

We sat for 1/2 hour before anyone came to our table. The server was nice but he barely made an appearance at our table. The food was decent enough but the live music was extremely loud Not likely to return

To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I wasted 200$ on a dinner date in which I was excited to be celebrating my one year anniversary only for us to be limited to a Valentine's Day menu which made our stomach turn from the moment we started with our starters. Maybe if we were given the option to choose from either their regular menu or the special Valentine's Day it would've made the 200$ worth it.

We went for Valentine's Day. They had a fixed price menu that was a little pricey, but well worth it. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We had a drink at the bar before diner, and Jason was an incredible bartender. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

a great neighborhood restaurant with solidly good food and professional service with a great attitude. it's a lovely room but i downgraded the ambience to 2 stars because there was no music playing, which gave entering a strange 'is this place open' feeling.

Repeat visit on a Monday night. Unfortunately, there was a family with 2 very young children who were loud and would have been more suited to Chucky Cheese. I cant understand why the better restaurants allow this. The wait staff was nice. We were served by Abby last time who was outstanding. This group were nice but average. I had the salmon which was excellent. My wife had the shortrib which, she stated, was very dry. Things seemed to have changed since our last visit. The food not quite as good, the waitstaff not quire the same. Almost wonder if the ownership had changed. Overall, not a bad place but not outstanding.

My wife and I love this place. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here. We have been back as often as we can. Their Brussel sprouts are amazing, calamari was fresh and melt in your mouth. Their short rib is always amazing. The prawn pasta is delicous, the peas in it are an awesome touch. Their drinks are great and always mixed well. The butterscotch pudding and creme Brule are always our go to desserts. This place is great for date night or just a nice dinner at a nice location.

great neighbor hood spot with reliably good food and friendly service. the manager on duty was very friendly and helpful. nice playlist, relaxing environment. the low point is in the bar which is lit very brightly and doesn't have a bar vibe at all; also the banquet seating in bar is uncomfortable. overlit but nice patio.
Nick and Gs is a hidden gem. Great drive there from Villa de la Valle. Nestled in a quaint neighborhood, super chill, classy environment. Romantic seating, personable service. Perfectly timed courses. Delectable cuisine and a divine dessert with coffee. Could have easily been over priced like most upscale downtown San Diego restaurants but it wasn't which honestly was really refreshing. It felt well deserved of my time and dime.

What a wonderful experience! The food was so good. They had a great menu for the holidays. The service was excellent. Our waitperson Diana was fantastic. The restaraunt was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We were so very happy with our choice. Merry Christmas and thank you!
The only complaint we have is that we were rushed. Our salad came out with our soup. Then Our main course came out before we were done with our salad. It was disappointing on a date night we wanted to relax and chat. Next time we will request our food be spaced out. Thanks
