This chicken sauté was very delicious, and the rest of my meal too! Toby was very helpful and flexible with half of my family being fully vegetarian, thank you! The restaurant was empty, but aside from that, amazing experience.

My family of three dined at Thai Smile in Rancho Santa Margarita on Thursday, April 16, 2026, and placed a large dine-in order with the intent of taking leftovers home. Please see attached receipt photos.
Near the end of the meal, my wife mentioned that she wasn’t feeling well, though we didn’t initially connect it to the food. The following day (Friday, April 17), I ate the remainder, and majority, of her “Three’s Company” dish at approximately 4:30 PM. Within about an hour, I became severely ill, experiencing vomiting and continued symptoms throughout the night, followed by approximately two and a half days of recovery.
On April 22, I contacted the restaurant by phone to share what happened. While I understand that situations like this can be complex and not always definitive, I was concerned by the lack of acknowledgment or apparent interest in the situation and its potential implications.
Out of caution, I reported the incident to the Orange County Health Department the same day.
I recommend that others exercise discretion, particularly with leftovers, and I hope the restaurant takes food safety and customer feedback seriously moving forward.

First time trying this restaurant. We normally go to Season Thai in RSM and by comparison, it's much better. Ordered the pad Thai with chicken, pretty flat on flavor and not much chicken to be found. My wife ordered yellow curry with chicken, again pretty mediocre flavor. The food isn't horrible but there's much better to be had. Disappointed.

Came in last minute for the lunch special, still got amazing food!
