Food was ok, cocktails were decent. The host had her feet up on the host stand and wouldn't take her eyes off her cellphone. Asked to sit at the bar and there was no pleasant "please go ahead is open seating, enjoy" but only a "go ahead". When I left she didn't even look at me... Too busy texting. The bar tender was good and made his drinks well but there was no engagement on a slow night with only 3 people at the bar. The office door was open which is never what you want to see when going to a restaurant. In regards to the food it was ok. The salad had flavor but some of the lettuce was very visibly brown.

Great location, views of a lake. I had a burger it was okay. The young lady serving us was largely uninterested. Nothing to write home about

Amazing food, service, atmosphere and view! Best restaurant experience in RSM by far. Jessica our recent waitress is amazing, she sets the standard and itemized the bill per person for our large party relieving us of the stress of having to figure it all out.

Kid-friendliness: They didn't bat an eye at our kids running around a bit. We all felt very comfortable.

Fantastic evening with wonderful, high quality appetizers along with some of most creative cocktails I have ever seen. So unique and so tasty. The ambience was great. Wonderful experience

My wife and I celebrated our Anniversary at Blind Pig. We loved it! The ambiance was very warm and relaxing. Our server, Cali, was kind and attentive the entire time. The food was outstanding!!! We got the Burrata, the Bacon wrapped dates and the Steak and everything was perfect and tasted amazing! The food arrived quite quickly. We really enjoyed dining at the Blind Pig!

We split a Wedge salad, which was the highlight. My wife ordered shrimp appetizer, which she found a little too spicy for her. I ended up eating most of the shrimp. I looked forward to the lamb kebab appetizer. The serving was generous, however the lamb was chewy and flavorless. Amanda, our waitress was very accommodating and friendly. She asked if we enjoyed our meal. I made the comment about the lamb. To my suprise, we were not billed for the lamb. We found the restaurant a little too noisy for us (we are elderly) and we had an annoying fly buzzing in and about.

We just came here for drinks but they have excellent cocktails. Happy hour provides some decent deals but after wetting my palate at the bar, I will definitely be back for food. Cheers!

The delivered eggs were very spicy. Or

Vegetarian options: All I ever had was the deviled eggs. But they were to spicy. Then I sampled a little red wine which was there happy hour ? brand. So I didn't get it. Will give it another chance another time. Employees were friendly.

Interesting menu but the preparation lacks. Perhaps we ordered the wrong items. The coconut shrimp was overcooked and tough. The chilaquiles were spicy but uninspired. Loved the burrata with the jam and toast. Best item we tried. Prices are a bit hefty for the amount of food provided but it is, after all, Rancho Santa Margarita. Great views from the patio and that may be enough for most diners. Most popular we noticed was the all you can handle mimosas.

Beautiful patio with a lake view. The food was good, not great but good, drinks were delicious, but our server was very nice but inattentive, took forever to get the drinks and food. Restaurant was not packed, so??? I don't think we'll go back.

My husband and I used come here often when we lived in the neighborhood. It was so nice to return to The Blind Pig for a date night after a long week of work. As usual the drinks are great! The food was yummy, and our servers were extremely nice and welcoming. Recommend the buratta and squash pasta. Delicious and comforting food. High quality. Any drink is good. If your outside in the evening, with a lake view, bring your sunglasses and relax enjoy the sunset.

Hubby and I are visiting family in RSM. We drove down from the San Francisco Bay Area Wed.

Today, in between events, we were looking for a place for lunch, and found The Blind Pig.

We had lunch. Hubby had strawberry French toast with a side of bacon. He loved it. He's very particular about how his bacon is cooked, and theirs was exactly as he likes it. The French toast was yummy! Lovely crispy edges. Just the right sweetness.

We shared their loaded deviled eggs........Fantastic!! So tasty and pretty too.

I had their Kimchi Enchiladas. Wonderful!! Another lovely plate too, with vibrant red radish slices and fresh cilantro bringing gorgeous color. The carnitas was really nicely cooked, Juicy and tender.

I wish we were here more often to try even more of their great menu.

The hostess and servers and possibly the manager were very kind and attentive and sweet.

Highly recommend The Blind Pig to the locals who may not have tried it yet, and to visitors looking for a fabulous, affordable meal. You'll be well cared for, and very well fed.
