What a great place! I had the biscuits and gravy with the sausage, egg and potatoes. The biscuit was really good, not dry and had excellent flavor. We will be stopping by for lunch next, this may be my go-to. The waitress was very friendly and took the time to talk with us. The inside is just neet to check out, oh and they have an outdoor patio weather permitting.

Went here for a burger as it was recommended to me by a couple locals. Got the giant burger (actually just two patties) and fries. The atmosphere was nice, restaurant was clean. Definitely leans into the older-style almost saloon feel. The burger was cooked to order and tasted fine, but nothing exceptional. The fries were basic, but good, and the fry sauce was good enough to put on both the fries and burger. Service was exceptional and what earns a 5-star rating. The gal who served me was quick, attentive, and very friendly. The food came out quick and hot. While I probably won't be back soon as I try new places whenever I pass through town, I would definitely recommend giving Bartels a try.

Great atmosphere with friendly staff. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating with the bright colors and fun paintings. The inside has beautiful old brick walls with furniture that creates a relaxed at home feeling.
I got the biscuits and gravy with an egg on top. The gravy was terrific and the egg on top was a fun new experience that I really enjoyed.

Fantastic apple walnut chicken salad and wraps! Been there a half dozen times now and always had great food and friendly attentive service. Atmosphere is cleverly decorated and fun, patio is dog friendly. Definitely recommend!
