Today we were in Red Bluff on business and had heard that La Corona was a great mom and pop Mexican food restaurant and we had to give it a shot.Well damn good thing we did! The service and food were amazing! Waiters/waitress teams kicked butt! Chips and salsa right away, drinks to follow! Food is like grandma made it! Robust flavor of home cooking. In my opinion, La Corona is the "gold standard" for Mexican restaurants. There is a reason why they have been in business for so long, and that their best advertising is word-of-mouth! All the dishes I have had are excellent--I especially love the fish tacos and fish burrito. Best in town! The grilled chicken taco is also superb as are the tostadas. I love this restaurant! Great food and friendly service! Sometimes the food takes a while to get to the table, so If you're in a hurry it's probably not the best place to go. Otherwise, it's worth the wait.
