Lots of variety in the menu. Waitress was attentive and friendly, and we learned some of the history of the building from the waitress.

Wonderfully delicious with great portions. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, the asparagus was totally on point and the garlic fries had a good kick to them. Our server was equally amazing and very friendly and attentive.

Our waitress was nice and kept our waters full. The food was just okay. Cowboy steak was not great quality. The walnut cranberry salad was weirdly salty. The Texas toast they give you looked better than it tasted.

Love the food but a bit on the pricy side. Kind of noisy at night.

The food isn't bad, but its nothing special and way overpriced for what it is. I have been there 4 or 5 times and I don't think I have ever had good service. The staff is friendly so I don't want to give that impression, but it takes forever to get your food and its nothing to rave about. It took over 2 hours from the time we got there until the time we got the check and they were not that busy, perhaps its understaffed? Weekdays or weekends doesn't seem to make a difference as this has been the case every time I have gone, just way too slow. After giving it another try multiple times, I can honestly say that I just don't see the hype and how this place has so many positive reviews....

They didn't have the AC on and it was 81 degrees when we arrived and 84 degrees when we left according to the thermostat in the lobby. People were fanning themselves with menus.... I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I cannot recommend them until they step up their game. The atmosphere isn't bad but that doesn't really mean much if everything else is mediocre

Went here for lunch and about seven tables were seated. Only one waitress who was polite but obviously rushed and frustrated. This is the third time we have been here for lunch and it's always the same. Not enough help, sitting for hours waiting on food and maybe a drink refill. Poor management is my suspicion. I feel sorry for the staff at this place. The lights are also blinding but I just don't look at them. Food was good and prices fair. We will still go back but maybe next time be first in the door for lunch!

Decided for a late lunch/ early dinner to drive down from Redding. Should have called ahead to verify if they had their full menu, however didn’t see anywhere on their website only lunch was served. Waitress sat us and took got our drink order immediately. Unfortunately they only had lunch so we ordered potato skins. Took about 30 mins for them to come out and was honestly just a twice baked potato. Only plus is they didn’t skimp on the sour cream. We weren’t checked on and had to finally go up to the bar to cash out. There was only one other table eating when we got there.

3rd time here in 6 years, had good experiences the 1st 2 times. Just had dinner again a week ago, 8/12/25.
The only reason I'm giving them 1 star is the service was very good as was the decor. I ordered the $74 Ribeye and the wife had the filet mignon, 2 beers a piece and no appetizers or desssert. The total before the tip was $166.
Both our steaks were so salty we barely ate 1/3rd of them. The baked potato was Luke warm and hard. Something smelled fishy, the butter garlic sauce or vegetables .
Tossed both leftovers. Very, very disappointed with this dining experience compared to 2 previous visits. Cannot believe there are regular customers that are happy with the quality of the meals for this price.
GBWH......what the he'll happened to you?? What a shame, maybe in a few years we may give them another chance.
