The place was clean and comfortable, but the pizza had no flavor… especially the sauce. The ranch dressing tasted like it came out of a jar (not fresh from a mix).

My Family have been patrons of Luigi's since 1986 when they were still out on Walnut! We always LOVED Luigi's & Family members visiting ALWAYS had to eat there! However, since they SOLD OUT, everything has changed! Ordered Mushroom & half Pepperoni to be delivered! First, NO cheese or pepper packets included! Also, the "old" Luigi's usually sent napkins & paper plates as well! Nothing! Next, let's eat! HA! Pizza not cooked thoroughly & doughy! Yuck! Called & "complained" which was a JOKE! Woman I spoke w/made it sound like I was a whiner, etc! Really? Called back next day to try to explain how their poor business practices was gonna basically "be the ruin" of Luigi's, a Red Bluff landmark! Here's what I was told! Cheese & peppers carried by Delivery drivers! And I knew this how? They don't just GIVE YOU cheese, peppers, napkins, etc, why? Because they're afraid they WON'T BE USED & JUST A WASTE OF THE RESTAURANT'S MONEY!!! WTF? When I brought up the raw, doughy crust, was told that since it was mushroom, excess liquid, etc, then next time maybe I should tell them to COOK IT LONGER! In other words, tell the pizza parlor HOW TO COOK PIZZA!!! REALLY??? They did offer to remake @ another time but I'm DONE & surely don't need someone spitting in my food! Done w/Luigi's!!! ✌️

A "Small" pizza can easily feed three adults. Great flavor and LOADED. The hot pastrami is excelent. Portions are hudge, order small. I got a large hot pastrami, easily feeds two adults. I could only get 1/2 down. This is now our stoping point as we frequently drive the I-5.

My husband and I, along with my grandson and daughter, who were visiting from Arizona went to Luigi's on July 9, 2024. We were very excited to eat, as Luigi's was our favorite place to eat in Red Bluff. However, the food is NOT THE SAME as it was the last time we ate here. We ordered a pastrami sandwich, toasted, a salad, meatball sub, a small mushroom/pineapple pizza, and a small pepperoni pizza. Usually we love everything here! However, pastrami sandwich had not that much meat on it. When it used to be packed with meat! The meatball sub was sliced meatballs, (they used to come as whole meatballs), they surely did not taste like beef. They tasted like they were made out of turkey and cereal filler. There was barely any sauce and cheese on it. And I mean BARELY any sauce! The pizzas were just okay, it seems like they are using different cheese. It's not the same stretch consistancey or taste.? I also believe the crust is a different recipe! We are from Chico and you just can't get a good taste and quality of these foods, so Luigi's was our go to! Well not anymore. Wish the food didn't change here! They had a winner with the way their food used to be! Now we are in search of a new pizza/sandwich/salad place! Not to mention, why did Luigi's get rid of pasta dishes? My daughter when she visits likes the baked ziti, and it's not served here any more!! Really sad. Did Luigi's change owners or something?

Felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. Very friendly and attentive employees. Our food was delicious. I would recommend this place for anyone passing by looking for a good place to eat. Wish we had a Luigis closer to home. Keep up the great work.

Stopped here on our way out of redding, and it was absolutely delicious. I recommend the shrimp basket and the chicken garlic supreme. The servers were extremely friendly and quick.

I gave 5 stars because I'm from out of town and came to this pizza shop and the service was excellent. Waited about 30 minutes to carry out 12 inch pizza with 3 toppings. Baked well done.. $20.00. Don't know if that's expensive for pizza here in this town. I'm from Indiana. Thin crust back home is very thin the way I like it. Pizza here is a little thicker but can't complain. It was so good. Everyone in the kitchen is young but did an awesome job. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ keep up the good work. Maybe someday I'll be back in the area for work again and get to order from this pizza shop again. Thank you..
