So glad that this place is still in business, I grew up in Humboldt County and on many weekends in the summer we would come down to the Redcrest area to swim in the Eel River. This place takes me right back to those days, something about a funky business with neon lights shining out of the dark redwoods looks so "Humboldt". So, we visited the 31-mile-long Avenue of the Giants. There are not that many dining options on this route. We stopped at this place. They have a gift shop and a "Tree House" consisting of a tree trunk that is hollow at the bottom, pretty much an empty space. Nothing exciting. However, we stopped for much at the cafe there. I had a grilled cheese sandwich, and my wife had the veggie burger. Nothing special, but not bad. The waitress was very friendly, and prices were...
I was insdie to the gift shop on a previous occasion. Cute.
