Yum! Came in for something different and found ND the watermelon salad. Amazing! So delighted. Pretty quiet after the holiday. Staff was great. I'd visit again.
We did a carry out dinner (Flat Iron Sampler, onion rings & wine) and were very happy with quality, price, value and timeliness, and the staff. They even helped me carry it out to my car as my hands were full. The dining room and bar was a bit dated in appearance but the customers there seemed happy. The server mentioned a band was coming later too (Friday night).
I’d also add that the portion sizes were perfect, not too big and not too small (though we received an incredible amount of onion rings for $5.00!)
Thanks for the dinner & service 3 Shastas!
Karaoke every Thursday 🤣
Great staff, friendly environment, great food, live entertainment, big dining room, and all the amenities that go along with a nice club. we love to perform IN Derek kilpatrick's HFD band.
Three Shastas Bar and Grill is a true piece of Redding’s fine history, evoking fond memories for many, including myself. Under the adept management of Danielle—a class act whose kindness and intelligence lead with grace—the establishment continues to thrive. The staff, including the beautiful & talented bartender Denise and the beautiful and attentive server Kayla, contribute significantly to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
This evening at 8:30 PM, a live band will be performing, bringing the same good old vibes we all know and love. The venue boasts what I consider the best outdoor patio among bars and restaurants in Redding, providing an ideal setting for dining and socializing.
Reflecting on my personal journey, I began working here as a banquet server at 18. In hindsight, when the HR Director offered me a choice between serving at Misty’s or as a banquet server, I should have chosen Misty’s. Nevertheless, I’ll always cherish this wonderful bar and club, renowned for its exceptional food. The dishes not only look amazing but consistently receive high praise from patrons and reviewers alike.
Families are warmly welcomed—bring grandma and grandpa, aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters, and even your well-behaved pets. Enjoy a piece of Redding’s finest. Adjacent to the establishment is a gym and a beautiful pool, where guests can be seen happily swimming, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
Great live music and dancing every Friday and Saturday!
We went in for a quiet drink and decided to share the fish and chips. Delicious! Service was excellent! Will make it a regular spot!

Looked at us like we weren't worthy to eat in this establishment with my husband in his work clothes. Said we had to walk in 1 area then come back to a different area to seat ourselves. Kinda didn't make to much sense to me. We turned around and left

Caitlyn the bartender made some great Bloody Mary's and had great conversation...will go back for laid back place to hang out...plan is for coworkers to go after work to bond...
Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level so can easily get in on wheelchair which I've been in two weeks when I hurt my back last year and the old football spine fracture I didn't know about loosened up unable to stand...

First time in last night.. There was definitely a lively crowd, albeit a bit older one there for the live music- Liquid Amber played. Not terrible and the bartender was very fast and friendly.

Decent hotel bar with nice staff. Pretty lively for a mid-week night with live music and dancing. Crowd was heavily skewed towards the elderly but that may have just been the band's audience.

Weird and dysfunctional experience. Heard great things about this place so decided to try it out with my kid and dad. Upon arriving it took the host 10 plus minutes to realize we were standing around waiting on a table. (They had only like 3 tables sat in the entire restaurant). Once we got a table they didn’t give us any menus. We almost waited another 20 minutes to receive our menus. When we got the food; it wasn’t very flavorful and we didn’t have any silverware. And then in the middle of eating my elderly dad needed to find the closest restroom. We were not guests of the hotel. We dined in as walk in and never even been inside the hotel. We were not guests staying there. When somebody from the kitchen staff gave my dad directions to the bathroom he went to a table and said “sorry for the wait. This old man that has no idea what he is doing needed directions to the bathroom.” Super rude and uncalled for. Waiting for a table, menus, silverware, food that wasn’t even good and an employee talking negatively on my elderly father did not make this dinner a good experience. Won’t be back again
