“🌟 Huge Shout-Out & Thank You to Outback Steakhouse Redding! 🌟 I just have to take a moment to give the biggest THANK YOU to the amazing team at the Redding Outback Steakhouse. We celebrated my birthday there, and it was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had dining out as a family. We have a loved one with a severe, life-threatening dairy allergy one that has previously resulted in medically induced comas so eating out is something we almost never do. But from the moment we arrived, the staff and managers went above and beyond to ensure his safety and comfort. They took every precaution imaginable using fresh gloves, preventing any cross-contamination, bringing his meal out first, and even having the manager personally come to our table to talk through his allergy and confirm every step taken. The care, professionalism, and compassion they showed meant the world to us.”

I was bummed there was no strawberry daiquiri. They need a blender!!! Bar tender was also our waiter. SUPER AWESOME GUY!!! Desserts are amazing!!! Calamari was just ok...I like lighter batter but at least it wasn't chewy. The sour dough bread was very good. Love the salad dressing options! I would return but since I live in red bluff I would must likely go to 5th street steakhouse in chico if I'm going to spend that much money.”

“The crew at Burrito Bandito was outstanding! Everyone was polite, professional, and provided top-notch customer service. It was refreshing to see a staff that was attentive, friendly, and focused on helping customers—no one was distracted or glued to their phone.

The portions are huge! The burrito bowl was easily enough food for two people.

Unfortunately, the black beans were oversalted, which made my meal less enjoyable than I had hoped. That said, it may have been a one-time issue. Based on the excellent service and generous portions, I'd be willing to give them another try. I've also heard that their breakfast burritos are really good, so I may be back to sample one of those next time.”

This place is amazing, I am vegan and they have at least a dozen or more options for me, with little to no modifications needed. They're always so friendly and professional. They are family run and their hours of operation are normal business hours, they started staying open until 7 recently which is amazing because I'm usually not getting off work until 6 so it's perfect for dinner time on those days when I'm too exhausted and hungry to cook. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves Thai food ❤️ they're the BEST”

I have severe food issues and Cassy spent a lot of time helping me figure out what items I could eat. She made suggestions on what they could leave out and what to substitute from a few dishes. Because of her loving guidance I had no problems that night or next day with what I ate and what she suggested and brought was extremely delicious and exactly what I liked! THANK YOU AGAIN, Cassy. “We LOVE Corbett’s. One of the best restaurants in the area. Amazing food and service*. Try the lobster eggs benedict, any of their kickass omelets (my partner likes the salmon omelet, I like the Downtown or California), any of their fantastic sandwiches. I’m not a coffee snob in any capacity so YMMV, but their regular coffee is REALLY good. Desserts are also fantastic.

* Regarding service. Normally Maria is our server, extremely kind and personable, has gotten to know us & our preferences well and takes great care of us. She is a standout human being. Unfortunately, we must have stopped in on her day off today and got Allison. She was… certainly not outright rude but made us and others feel like an inconvenience. Maybe not having a good day. Happens.

As soon as we sat down, something to the effect of “wow, as soon as I start a project I have more people come in” was said. Sure, same, I also work in the service industry and I know the feeling, but it’s not something I voice to patrons. She made various other kinda not great comments throughout our visit, both to us and another table.

Allison still kept us taken care of consistently and quickly, and kept our drinks full. But we definitely missed Maria today.”

“so I just want to give a big shout out to the dutch on South Market. last year I had just left the hospital where my Father was with covid pneumonia, I had also lost my Grandfather two days prior, trying to hold down my job, and I was taking care of my Mother who was sick at home. It was late so I stopped to get a hot chocolate and when I got to the window the young man asked me how my day was going and I lost it. I started crying and telling him everything that was going on and also apologizing for crying, the employees were incredible. “We tried Lumberjacks again today after reading reviews on the Redding Restaurant Review and hearing they had new management and we were very impressed! The new manager, I believe his name tag said Gary was very personable, he was greeting folks as they came in and left. The food was hot, fresh and back to the normal portion sizes they used to have. We had stopped going due to poor management and just complete lack of customer care with the old manager. We will definitely be back! New management and team are wonderful 👏 😀.”

“We had THE most amazing experience at Mosaic on Thanksgiving Day. I began in the food service industry when I was 13 yrs old and have worked in a range of restaurants (but most were in the higher end style). Every part of our experience was exemplary. Service was on point, attentive but unobtrusive. Food was equally impressive with presentation and flavor components. My Mom is not an easy guest, but she was satisfied with options and adaptability. Thanksgiving (as well as any "special holiday" is always a challenge in the industry.... Our experience was absolutely exemplary. I can not recommend Mosaic enough, it is now our "Go To" between Sac/Davis and the Rogue Valley.”

“I had such a great experience here! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and everything tasted so fresh — you can really tell they use local ingredients. I ordered the breakfast tacos, and they had the perfect mix of flavors. Every bite was balanced and delicious. My sister-in-law got the biscuits and gravy, and the gravy instantly reminded me of my dad’s home-cooked version — comforting, hearty, and absolutely spot-on. Definitely a dish I’d recommend! Even my pickiest eater (who said he doesn't like burgers) ate it and wants to go back. The place was clean. The servers were kind. This place is so awesome to have in Redding! “SCB is run by a really sweet husband and wife team. I appreciated their great customer service and use of organic flours. The Olive and Thyme bread was soft, fresh, and perfect. I found them at the Redding Farmer’s Market at City Hall on Saturday mornings.”

“We've been here about a dozen times now and the food is delicious and well priced. That's why we keep comming back. Today though was the best I've had. The pico de gallo was so fresh and the carne asada tender and flavorful. I add jalapenos and they always put a lot on. They don't skimp on ingredients that's for sure. I love the Super Nachos and chimichanga, the street tacos are good too and my fiance likes the chili relleno burrito, just wish it came with meat but you can add it for 5 dollars and I'm sure they would give you a big amount so it's worth it. We'll definitely keep comming back at least weekly and appreciate the parking lot is big enough, we've seen a lot of truckers park there to get food as well so it's convenient for them right off I5.”

“First time here and it was delicious. I had the stuffed French toast with huckleberry fruit on top and a side of bacon. The French toast was amazing! It was cooked just right and the filling was not overly sweet. The bacon was a bit too crispy for me but it wasn't burnt so that was a huge plus! Really enjoyed and will be back.”

“I went there thinking it was a restaurant, but it turned out to be inside a gas station. Still, because of the good reviews, I wanted to try it. I ordered the tenders with mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken and the honey biscuit were really good and flavorful, but the mashed potatoes with gravy were awful, basically potato soup and super runny. I took one bite and threw them away. I definitely don’t recommend that side at all. On the other hand, even the wedges my friend ordered were really good.”
