“Came here to try a new place while passing thru Redding and now will definitely be back! The owners are very friendly and pleasant to talk to. My meat lovers omelet with fruit on the side was great. I liked that the meat was cut kinda finely so you get a dose of all the meats in every bite. I was surprised to see turmeric lattes on the menu, and I'm happy to report that it's a good one! I got mine less sweet (because I don't like really sweet drinks) and it was just right.”

We celebrated my birthday there, and it was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had dining out as a family. We have a loved one with a severe, life-threatening dairy allergy one that has previously resulted in medically induced comas so eating out is something we almost never do. But from the moment we arrived, the staff and managers went above and beyond to ensure his safety and comfort. They took every precaution imaginable using fresh gloves, preventing any cross-contamination, bringing his meal out first, and even having the manager personally come to our table to talk through his allergy and confirm every step taken. The care, professionalism, and compassion they showed meant the world to us.”

“Steak was great and the drinks were just as good. Jake, our server, was funny, attentive, and gave awesome recommendations, including great drinks.
One nice thing: if you want to split a meal, you can pay a bit extra to get your own soup or salad, your own proper portion of the side, and in our case, the steak cut in half. It kind of ends up being a lot of food, so perfect if you’re a little hungry but still want to share.

On the pricier side, but it makes a great dinner spot if you’re looking for something a bit upscale.

*Update: giving this place the 5 stars it deserves. We’ve gone back a few more times and have had extremely pleasant experiences.

The portions are huge! The burrito bowl was easily enough food for two people.

Unfortunately, the black beans were oversalted, which made my meal less enjoyable than I had hoped. That said, it may have been a one-time issue. Based on the excellent service and generous portions, I'd be willing to give them another try. I've also heard that their breakfast burritos are really good, so I may be back to sample one of those next time.”

This place is amazing, I am vegan and they have at least a dozen or more options for me, with little to no modifications needed. They're always so friendly and professional. They are family run and their hours of operation are normal business hours, they started staying open until 7 recently which is amazing because I'm usually not getting off work until 6 so it's perfect for dinner time on those days when I'm too exhausted and hungry to cook. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves Thai food ❤️ they're the BEST”

My group was looking for a lunch spot going through Redding and we barely made it before they closed and it was so so worth it. I got a cranberry jam and turkey bagel sandwich and was top of the notch. The Avocado, tomato, and cream cheese bagel is also a delight. I regretted not buying a few more bagels for next morning. They do taste super fresh, soft and perfect. Highly recommend and get a few extra for next day! You can eat inside they have a super comfy sofa and seating, loooooved the decor it's so unique, and service was a 10/10 too.”

The donuts are designed to share (only if you want to) and are light as you eat to your hearts delight. The large selection of accompanying drinks add to the great menu choices as well.

“so I just want to give a big shout out to the dutch on South Market. last year I had just left the hospital where my Father was with covid pneumonia, I had also lost my Grandfather two days prior, trying to hold down my job, and I was taking care of my Mother who was sick at home. It was late so I stopped to get a hot chocolate and when I got to the window the young man asked me how my day was going and I lost it. I started crying and telling him everything that was going on and also apologizing for crying, the employees were incredible. “We tried Lumberjacks again today after reading reviews on the Redding Restaurant Review and hearing they had new management and we were very impressed! The new manager, I believe his name tag said Gary was very personable, he was greeting folks as they came in and left. The food was hot, fresh and back to the normal portion sizes they used to have. We had stopped going due to poor management and just complete lack of customer care with the old manager. We will definitely be back! New management and team are wonderful 👏 😀.”

I began in the food service industry when I was 13 yrs old and have worked in a range of restaurants (but most were in the higher end style). Every part of our experience was exemplary. Service was on point, attentive but unobtrusive. Food was equally impressive with presentation and flavor components. My Mom is not an easy guest, but she was satisfied with options and adaptability. Thanksgiving (as well as any "special holiday" is always a challenge in the industry.... Our experience was absolutely exemplary. I can not recommend Mosaic enough, it is now our "Go To" between Sac/Davis and the Rogue Valley.”

So, when we needed to schedule a party for our friend who was going to celebrate her 100th birthday, we chose Huffs....not knowing what to expect. “We've been here about a dozen times now and the food is delicious and well priced. That's why we keep comming back. Today though was the best I've had. The pico de gallo was so fresh and the carne asada tender and flavorful. I add jalapenos and they always put a lot on. They don't skimp on ingredients that's for sure. I love the Super Nachos and chimichanga, the street tacos are good too and my fiance likes the chili relleno burrito, just wish it came with meat but you can add it for 5 dollars and I'm sure they would give you a big amount so it's worth it. We'll definitely keep comming back at least weekly and appreciate the parking lot is big enough, we've seen a lot of truckers park there to get food as well so it's convenient for them right off I5.”

“First time here and it was delicious. I had the stuffed French toast with huckleberry fruit on top and a side of bacon. The French toast was amazing! It was cooked just right and the filling was not overly sweet. The bacon was a bit too crispy for me but it wasn't burnt so that was a huge plus! Really enjoyed and will be back.”

“I went there thinking it was a restaurant, but it turned out to be inside a gas station. Still, because of the good reviews, I wanted to try it. I ordered the tenders with mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken and the honey biscuit were really good and flavorful, but the mashed potatoes with gravy were awful, basically potato soup and super runny. I took one bite and threw them away. I definitely don’t recommend that side at all. On the other hand, even the wedges my friend ordered were really good.”
