Update: While I still like this place, some price increases have surprised me and led to not choosing Lulu's as my 1st choice stop for a meal. I understand everybody needs to make a profit but dining profits have risen by leaps and bounds and my income has NOT followed suit. The old school Redding spot. Simple and mostly good food. Friendly local long time servers. It’s a lot of history and a good place to go now and then. The bar is a time machine worth the stop alone.

You must try the Monte Cristo sandwich if you like sweet and savory. It was one of the best I have had. The prices are reasonable. Better than Sweeties all around we all thought. They also have a full bar! The atmosphere is really cute, comforting, and has a vibe that takes you back. We recommend this diner and we will be returning.
