“My husband and I decided to take a trip to Burney Falls and wanted a place to sit in and have lunch. We found this place on Yelp. Once we entered, Angela (I believe was her name) told us the kitchen wouldn't be serving dinner until 4:30pm and that we were more than welcome to grab a drink at the bar in the mean time. 10 minutes before dinner time she asked us what we would like so she can put the order in and have it ready by then. She was very welcoming and easy to speak to. She provided great hospitality for our first time at the restaurant. She definitely made our experience great. We tried the soup of the day and it was chicken noodle soup. I was convinced that it was from a can, boy was I wrong. The celery still had a crunch to it and was fresh! Then I ordered the cut of the day medium rare and it was seasoned well and was perfect. My husband and I didn't expect much but we were extremely satisfied and ordered food to go. We would definitely come here again.“
“You must try the Monte Cristo sandwich if you like sweet and savory. It was one of the best I have had. The prices are reasonable. Better than Sweeties all around we all thought. They also have a full bar! The atmosphere is really cute, comforting, and has a vibe that takes you back. We recommend this diner and we will be returning.“
“The Dip is one of the better bars/places to hang out at in Redding. I'm from the Bay Area and used to enjoy going to shows pretty frequently. The Dip has been suiting my needs because they host a variety of bands (reggae, jazz, metal, bluegrass, hip hop, etc) as well as a lot of different types of events like drag shows, trivia, silent disco, karaoke, etc. The staff there are all super friendly and lively- and their drinks are great, what more can you ask for!“
“What a cool place to grab a beer or glass of wine. A chill atmosphere that wasn’t pretentious. Did not try the charcuterie board but if I can make my own I’ll try next time. Good selection of beer on tap and wonderful bar tender. Will most certainly be back. Highly recommend trying this establishment.“
“Such a great little place! Clean and cute, wonderful beer selection, good prices, friendly staff, fun atmosphere, AND there’s a play area for little ones. Plus the food truck outside, The Sum of All Smoke, was absolutely delicious! It’s so nice to have a place where I can get out of the house for a beer and some adult conversation without having to worry about finding a babysitter. Will definitely be back soon!“
“A bit hidden, though right out in the open, no food here, but you can bring it or have it delivered. Best dive bar scene I've stumbled on in a very long time. Stopped in 2x on our 4 day trip. Bar tender was awesome, she made it worth going back.“

“I really like it here. Friendly place with friendly people. I came up from Tucson and came across this place from tips they had prime rib on Fridays. Did not disappoint. Well worth the price and half the cost I've found in other places.The only thing I have is I really wish they would get wi-fi and connect the jukebox to the internet. It only takes cash and there is no service in the area. Connected, people can play music from their phones.I will come back regardless. I heard they have taco Tuesday.“
“It was delicious. My mother brought me for dinner to have something nice before today's back surgery (long longed for). It has been a long time since I was able to eat so heartily. Sitting at the grill and watching it prepared was a treat. I appreciated the help given to my mom in finding what she was wanting despite not knowing what it was called. Thank you. We will bring the rest of yhe family next time.Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu but the chefs engage the kids and make it a special meal. Watching them brought back memories of long ago with my little brother.Wheelchair accessibility: I use a walker chair combo. We were very speedily seated in an accessible area and I was given the help I needed.“
“Been there only one time but was very impressed!! Will go back in again.Was very impressed at how clean the fish tanks were!! Means the rest of the place is probably just as clean?? Loved watching them!! Ordered the deep fried mushroom, there were Okay for frozen mushrooms!! My only complaint is a few costumers that have only a 4-letter vocabulary, at the top of their voice, for everyone in the place to hear!!!“

“Place is always pretty clean, they just added more TVs inside as well. Only thing to play is pool and music, only one table tho. No food options besides some chips and free popcorn. Bar tenders were changing a lot but seem to be sticking around now so seems nice to know the person who is serving your drinks.“
“I thought the all-you-can-eat breakfast was a bit expensive, but you get good tasting food. Bring the tapas back please! Those were delicious! Service took a bit to get started, but once she picked up our table, she was very active checking on us!“
“We came here for our 18th anniversary. We called ahead and got reservations. When we arrived we were seated promptly. The staff was very nice and the pasta was perfect. I got the chicken pesto special and my husband got the shrimp scampi. After looking at the pictures online I was a little concerned about the portion sizes, they are much larger than they appear in the photos. I was very pleased and had some to bring home as well.“
