“Love the simplicity of this place. They have burgers, fries, shakes, and drinks, all done really well. The star is the smash burgers the create. Knowing their craft and not changing, the thin patties with wonderfully crisp and tasty edges highlight the meal. Accompany the burger with shoestring fries that were hot, crispy, and salted perfectly made a supremely satisfying meal. If you have room, and I did, top off the meal with one of their shakes. They are more than willing to customize your shake flavor. My go to is a pineapple-orange creamsicle shake. Service was fast and friendly. Will return and recommend it to anyone.“

“My husband and I decided to take a trip to Burney Falls and wanted a place to sit in and have lunch. We found this place on Yelp. Once we entered, Angela (I believe was her name) told us the kitchen wouldn't be serving dinner until 4:30pm and that we were more than welcome to grab a drink at the bar in the mean time. 10 minutes before dinner time she asked us what we would like so she can put the order in and have it ready by then. She was very welcoming and easy to speak to. She provided great hospitality for our first time at the restaurant. She definitely made our experience great. We tried the soup of the day and it was chicken noodle soup. I was convinced that it was from a can, boy was I wrong. The celery still had a crunch to it and was fresh! Then I ordered the cut of the day medium rare and it was seasoned well and was perfect. My husband and I didn't expect much but we were extremely satisfied and ordered food to go. We would definitely come here again.“

We also ordered the Mac and cheese, which seemed to taste like horse Radish was in it, and also the chicken alfredo, which was very dry. They have very large portions. Their fries are really yummy. I asked for a gluten-free bun, which they charged me two dollars extra for. For the chicken burger and cider, it was $30 without tip.“
“Honestly, I don't think I have enjoyed eating out so much as I did at Sweeties, and this was my first time there. It was a toss up between the French toast and the chicken fried steak, I went for the chicken fried steak and I was very impressed with the taste to the point where everything else on my plate had to wait until I finished it. My take out food was the patty melt with Cajun fries. The burger was cooked medium well and was packed with jucy flavor. The fries were nicely seasoned and served with ranch as a dipping sauce. I only had service from the hostess which was very pleasant. I do look forward to a sit down experience at this awesome grille.“

“We’ve been to Huff’s a few times. It is a lovely restaurant overlooking Shasta Lake. Great for a romantic evening.The atmosphere is lively upstairs in the bar and chill downstairs. The food is great! Omg, the Pig Wings are fantastic! I had the Surf and Turf. The bacon wrapped filet was perfection! It was presented with the biggest butterflied prawn I’ve ever seen. Our server, Hailey was awesome. Very warm and friendly. Great at setting expectations, and providing options. She went out of her way to make sure we were happy.The mashed root vegetables were a bit bland but, still nice. I would love if the restaurant served warm bread.We met Cameron, the manager. I had the Denver omlet and a Belgin waffle side, hash browns smothered in country gravy and rye toast. They even bring the syrup heated! Details...they take care of em! However the pancakes were cool and didn't quite melt the butter, but that's typical of breakfast when restaurants are busy. I was disappointed by the very dirty filters in the ceiling, woodwork on booths and plastics all need to be cleaned. “There were four of us eating in the car we asked for boxes for each meal we all had the same meal instead of putting them in four boxes they brought us two boxes one with all the fries and another one with all the burgers. It doesn't work for four people that way they could listen a little better.“
