It was late so I stopped to get a hot chocolate and when I got to the window the young man asked me how my day was going and I lost it. I started crying and telling him everything that was going on and also apologizing for crying, the employees were incredible. Then when I went to pay for my hot chocolate the young man said he had paid for it and to come by anytime to talk if I needed it. you have no idea how much that meant to me. THANK YOU THANK YOU.“

“We dropped in this morning 6/20/24 and had a great experience. The staff was great and taught me to like matcha… quite a win. The bear claw was divine and we enjoyed watching more being made along with the cinnamon rolls. Very worth the stop on our travels from Seattle area. Thanks!“

“The cafe is located in the Bethel Christian campus. They are so kind and welcoming, and at 730 pm, in a Sunday, they were still pulling a great espresso! Food choices included like cold cut snack boxes, chips, baked goods, meal bars, grab and go snack foods. And let me share, coffee was so reasonably priced!

The cafe is large and many people were gathered chatting or studying. It’s one of the few places open after 3 and still making delicious coffee. They also have matcha, which I didn’t try on this trip, but maybe I’ll have an update soon.

Will stop there every time traveling between home and OR.

“I like this restaurant for Redding! The atmosphere is really fun and the food was presented well and cooked perfectly. My potatoes needed a little more seasoning, but my mom's ham steak was flavorful in a unique way. As a coffee snob, I loved the iced coffee I got - the presentation was cute in the jar. Employees were so attentive, friendly, checked on us just the right amount of times, and I loved to see it busy inside.

“Shout out to manager Tina from the Enterprise store. She called me about my complaint regarding the wing station and let me know that I can request fresh wings cooked while I shop. Good to know I can buy cooked wings without buying from the wing station. 👍🏼 the deli workers will receive training that this option is available to all who have time to wait for them to be cooked. I was extremely cleaver and witty talking about the the bread and the pizza and the pies and the desserts and how amazing it all is and how I would recommend it to everyone... and then I clicked off the the page and lost it all.🥲So this is what you get now. I would highly recommend almost everything at When Pie Meets Bread. I would also recommend stopping by early enough to pick something up when going to a dinner party. I, myself, can never think of anything to take to those things and picking up a veggie tray at WinCo just doesn't ever seem enough. But who wouldn't like fresh baked bread or pie or cookies or desserts? Honestly, if you haven't gone there yet I would check it out. I have not been disappointed with anything I have had there.😃“

I started going to this store when I started working out at Sun Oaks and have enjoyed every experience here! “They used real whipped cream on my raspberry jam stuffed eclair. (It was delightful instead of overwhelmingly. (Not sweet with hints of chemical. And the eclair itself was tender and light, as a donut should be.

Consider me shocked that this little shop off Lake Blvd is making donuts the right way. I also recommend the apple fritter, cinnamon twist, and old fashioned donuts. All proper donuts. Not stale, over reliant on sweeteners, or heavy. Glad I found a shop I want to support. Keep up the good work.“

“My friend and I enjoyed our delicious meal outside, weather was perfect. They were busy , thought there would be a wait. There was not, food was delivered, with a smile in a timely manner. Order was taken with a smile also, employees were very friendly. We had a absolutely delicious wrap, with teriyaki pork and too many other goodies to list. Avocado toast which is the tastiest we have ever had. Strawberry lemonade was incredible. Not overly sweet, or syrupy, great flavor. Nice size. Next time I will try a dessert. “Im a regular here before work and they have taken notice... I get a cup of ice every time I get an iced drink and sometimes theyll just hand it to me before I even sit down. Or itll be on my table when I run to the bathroom. They remembered I had a small issue with a drink like a week ago and made a point to make sure my drink was perfect this time. Theyre very nice to me here, make me feel specifically noticed and cared for, and overall will make me come back even if I stop working nearby. Easily my favorite location. 🧡“

“There are some great employees here, that just have a good detail orientation and vibe. Definitely makes me feel like going back to this location. The only crazy thing is the customers lol. That employee named Jay?, I think, very professional, very coordinated with keeping things how they're supposed to be.. I really don't think it would be worth going to fast food if it wasn't for good relatable people that work there, one of the girls that works there has the same sort of rep, like just with shutting that door that doesn't shut by the table and just being a normal person in general, I appreciate it when going to Redding (which feels like a strange foreign land lol)“
