It was a cold Saturday night. My friends & I were driving home from dinner when we saw the “warm & fresh donuts now” sign like a beacon in the storm. We pulled over, immediately craving some fresh donuts, and went over to their walk-up window. The employee swiftly informed us that there were no warm & fresh donuts to be eaten.
