“Stopped by to get coffee. The decoration of this store surprised me, and I really like it. My favorite is the board game corner. They have a big collection of board games for rent and arcade games. This is already a great hangout place for me. I ordered cafe mocha, and carne asada fries. The coffee smelled amazing, and I love the chocolate flavor. The meat in the fried was well seasoned, and the fries was very crispy! I finished it within 5 minutes even if I was not hungry! I will come back again for sure!“

“This is our all time favorite coffee/pastries shop. Hands down the best gf goodies I've ever had! Wonderful coffee and other non gf goodies as well. Jule (the owner) is super friendly and takes pride in her shop. A must stop when in McCloud!“

“Yaks Shack has the best atmosphere accompanied by the most amazing staff. Between their delectable food and their delicious drinks you will always find something you love here. Their music playlists and beautiful outdoor patio will guarantee your visit with fresh ambiance and all the small town charm perks. We love it here!“
“When I was on vacation with my husband, we were trying to find a good coffee spot other than Starbucks. Looked this place and up and decided to try it. We’re so glad we did. The coffee here is excellent, not to mention the lady who ran it was very sweet. On top of that, the selling point for us is that it’s veteran-owned. If you’re looking for a place that sells great coffee while supporting a veteran owned business, this is the place for you. 20/10 highly recommend. Wonderful little coffee stand.“
“The Organic Guatamala is my favorite! creamy, smooth, vibrant, and low acidity, this roast is the perfect start to a cold winter day. I live in Portland, OR and have not found one roaster that compares to Northbound Coffee Roasters! Highly recommend.“

“This is an absolute gem of a breakfast spot in McCloud, CA. If passing through the area, it is worth a stop off the beaten path to step in here and grab a delicious latte, mocha, tea or one of many handcrafted pastries. Tracy, the owner, recently opened this year, and my family and I have had the treat of trying out many of her delicacies and I couldn't wait to share about how yummy everything is (that we have tasted). I live in Mount Shasta and will make the 15, 20 minute drive to McCloud for Spill the Beans, because in my opinion, we have nothing that compares in our own town, sadly. The lattes here are absolutely delicious- this is my go-to. My partner was very impressed with the mochas. If you get the chance and like gingerbread, I thought the gingerbread cake was amazing- it's not as excessively sweet as it looks. If you like scones, but get concerned about trying out new ones, less they be too dry, you can try one of Tracy's, fully expecting a delightful experience. And one of our favorites that we will probably always snatch if it's there: the churro doughnut. That is a treat you will not want to miss. She also offers standard breakfast options like breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches and my absolute favorite of these is the breakfast burrito. It's big enough to split if you're hoping to try one of the sweet items in the case. Also, if you're hoping to grab a quick lunch in McCloud, there are croissant sandwiches with butter lettuce and the meat of your choice. Delicious!“

“Selection of coffee is extensive and flavorful. Personally enjoyed the Chai Buzz, with a breakfast burrito (which is delicious and not too heavy). The server is hard working, taking everyone’s order and cooking/making coffee efficiently as a solo act of passion. The long line was pleasantly served and thankful.“

“Lovely ambiance. I loved the aesthetic. Lots of clean lines and floral paintings. Amazing service and a decent selection of beer and wine. Very clean and neat. Charcuterie was from a local bakery and paired nicely with the drinks. Owner was very welcoming. Glad to find this hidden gem in Dunsmuir.“
