“Great place! I tried their chicken in salsa verde and cheese with rajas tamales. Both were great! They also have a variety of pan dulce, and when I asked the lady working there she said they also do burritos, pozole, birthday cakes, and other stuff. I didn't see a menu so be sure to ask!“

“One of the best bagels I've tried. All made fresh on the day, they are so so yummy. My group was looking for a lunch spot going through Redding and we barely made it before they closed and it was so so worth it. I got a cranberry jam and turkey bagel sandwich and was top of the notch. The Avocado, tomato, and cream cheese bagel is also a delight. I regretted not buying a few more bagels for next morning. They do taste super fresh, soft and perfect. Highly recommend and get a few extra for next day! You can eat inside they have a super comfy sofa and seating, loooooved the decor it's so unique, and service was a 10/10 too.“

“Great place for bakery items. CANNOT beat their prices!! They run a special on bread, bagels, English muffins, etc. that saves us over $45. a month in groceries. They also offer soup mixes, jellys, cookies, doughnuts, and a menagerie of pastries for more than reasonable prices. It's H.A.R.D. to not weigh 600lbs with all their goodies.“

“I just spent 15 minutes writing an incredible review for When Pie Meets Bread. I was extremely cleaver and witty talking about the the bread and the pizza and the pies and the desserts and how amazing it all is and how I would recommend it to everyone... and then I clicked off the the page and lost it all.🥲So this is what you get now. I would highly recommend almost everything at When Pie Meets Bread. I would also recommend stopping by early enough to pick something up when going to a dinner party. I, myself, can never think of anything to take to those things and picking up a veggie tray at WinCo just doesn't ever seem enough. But who wouldn't like fresh baked bread or pie or cookies or desserts? Honestly, if you haven't gone there yet I would check it out. I have not been disappointed with anything I have had there.😃“
“SCB is run by a really sweet husband and wife team. I appreciated their great customer service and use of organic flours. The Olive and Thyme bread was soft, fresh, and perfect. I found them at the Redding Farmer’s Market at City Hall on Saturday mornings.“

“What an amazing find in Redding! As you enter, this fun place has amazing flowers decorating one wall. The vibrant colors pop as you take in the decorations through this place. The donuts are designed to share (only if you want to) and are light as you eat to your hearts delight. The large selection of accompanying drinks add to the great menu choices as well.
Great variety of donuts, and imaginative assortment. I'd highly recommend this place for your next guild pleasure!“

“Went this morning with my son to the mall and promised we’d grab Cinnabon on the way out. I stopped by before they officially opened, and the gentleman behind the counter was so nice and let us know that the hot ones (my son’s request) were coming out in about five minutes. We came back, and the lady who rung us up was also super nice! Our Cinnabon was just as we expected it would be, and we’ll be back again. Thank you for the wonderful service this morning!“

“I wanted to thank owners/management for minimizing restaurant eat-in/take-out packaging and utilizing reusable, recyclable and compostable materials (bamboo skewers; paper liners on reusable trays; paper cups; paper take-home boxes. “We dropped in this morning 6/20/24 and had a great experience. The staff was great and taught me to like matcha… quite a win. The bear claw was divine and we enjoyed watching more being made along with the cinnamon rolls. Very worth the stop on our travels from Seattle area. Thanks!“
