“I really like their food and eat there about once a week, BUT the service can really be hit or miss. I had a particularly frustrating experience this morning when I was the only one in the shop, waiting for a salad I'd ordered ahead online. I checked in when I arrived, said I was here for the salad and ordered something else while I waited. I got the second thing I ordered, but then I just sat and waited for twenty minutes before finally checking in again and asking when they thought the salad would be ready. Turns out they'd finished it and put it on the shelf without telling me. I mentioned I'd been sitting there waiting for a while and they didn't say anything. I would have at least appreciated an apology or an explanation about a miscommunication or something. I understand that things get busy, and stuff falls through the cracks, but when you have three staff, and one customer, this kind of stuff should not be happening. This was at the Forest location, but I've had similar experiences at Mangrove and Esplanade as well.“

“The butcher shop is a go to for BBQs and the marinated arrachera. Good atmosphere with most of what you need for delicious Mexican food. The fresh vegetable section is a little lacking. Good selection of traditional pastries. There is a new restaurant next door with mole. Will try soon.“
“Great coffees! My Almond Croissant filled with frangipani was excellent! We also enjoyed the large, yummy cookies! Nice outdoor seating tucked underneath a lush canopy of beautiful trees and flowers.“

“Fabulous coffee! And good variety of flavors. I’m not a tea drinker, but my friends love the selection. Treats are always tempting me!! But I’m here to say that it’s the atmosphere of the place that makes it a favorite. I met a friend here this morning. A great time that was made all the more special by our engaging with other patrons on the patio. What was it that made us quickly connect and start sharing from the heart? I can’t name it! “First and foremost the lady working there was so sweet! Very easy to talk to as well. I got a classic cinnamon roll with oreo bits on it; it was fresh out of the oven and it was delicious! I always get an extra cup of frosting with it. I also got a "chillata", once again, absolutely loved that too. :)“
