“The Sweet Spot is a small bakery located next to Papa Murphy's Pizza in the McKnight Shopping center which houses Target, SPD, and Sporting Goods, to name a few. This bakery has wonderful little tidbits of cakes and treats and they sure could use your business. All parties, cakes, cookies, and whatnot are made on the premises, so they are like home baked and fresh daily. Check them out, and get a chocolate chip cookie or a cream puff while you are there..“
“Went in for the 1st time on a stormy Saturday. Restaurant was mostly empty. Ordered the cheeseburger they had on special and it was delicious. 1/2 lb Patty, thousand island style sauce was great I went with everything but the onions. Service was prompt and friendly. Price for burger and a very generous amount of homemade fries was about $15. Well worth the visit. I will return and try out the Brats. ? Definitely a sports bar vibe with multiple TV's. Might be a good place to watch the 49ers whip the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII?“
“This bakery is gorgeous. The cakes are stunning, and the food is a little spendy but really good. We get our family birthday cakes here every year, and they make our wedding cake-I wish I had photos, they were works of art! The place is really well decorated and the customer service is fantastic-they’ve gone out of their way more than once to cater to our specific needs. Please spend all of your money here so they never, ever close!Parking: It’s on Mill St in the old bank building, so hopefully you can get a spot in the parking lot directly below or above, but if you get a fancy cake, there’s no pulling up to the curb-you must hike it back precariously“
“I enjoy coming here. I come for the cookies, pies, donuts, pastries, muffins, and other treats (and the friendly faces behind the counter are great, too!). I also hear the cakes and dinner rolls are phenomenal (I can't wait to try them). We have always been satisfied when it comes to Gristmill sweets! My experience with their lunches isn't as exciting. I ordered lunch (to-go) several times, and all three experiences needed to be corrected. The first time I placed a (to-go) order, they forgot to include our chicken quesadilla - when we went back to pick it up, they missed the chicken in the quesadilla (we weren't going back a third time!). The second time I placed a (to-go) lunch order, they missed the request for no mustard in my BLT (insert sad face here). The last order placed was the $12.95 "More than a House Salad," which you would hope is not dull and bland. My salads need crunch and flavor, especially when indicated, "More than." I'll return for the Bakery! Not sure about the Deli?“
“This is my favorite coffee shop in Grass Valley. Everything here is completely gluten free and it tastes so good! I also love their maple mushroom chai and lavender matcha. On a hot summer day the iced mint tea is also great.Crinkle cookies and donuts are my favorite - I hope they make more of the elusive maple donuts, I've only ever seen them twice. There is local art and a forest vibe here and I always love to visit just for a break from the day. All of the staff are always super nice. I'm a regular there for sure :)Dietary restrictions: The best place ever for gluten free baked goods! They also have plenty of dairy free options and sugar free drinks. They're very diet conscious so you can always ask them about specific ingredients if you have a preference or allergy.“
