“Went in for the 1st time on a stormy Saturday. Restaurant was mostly empty. Ordered the cheeseburger they had on special and it was delicious. 1/2 lb Patty, thousand island style sauce was great I went with everything but the onions. Service was prompt and friendly. Price for burger and a very generous amount of homemade fries was about $15. Well worth the visit. I will return and try out the Brats. ? Definitely a sports bar vibe with multiple TV's. Might be a good place to watch the 49ers whip the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII?“
“I enjoy coming here. I come for the cookies, pies, donuts, pastries, muffins, and other treats (and the friendly faces behind the counter are great, too!). I also hear the cakes and dinner rolls are phenomenal (I can't wait to try them). We have always been satisfied when it comes to Gristmill sweets! My experience with their lunches isn't as exciting. I ordered lunch (to-go) several times, and all three experiences needed to be corrected. The first time I placed a (to-go) order, they forgot to include our chicken quesadilla - when we went back to pick it up, they missed the chicken in the quesadilla (we weren't going back a third time!). The second time I placed a (to-go) lunch order, they missed the request for no mustard in my BLT (insert sad face here). The last order placed was the $12.95 "More than a House Salad," which you would hope is not dull and bland. My salads need crunch and flavor, especially when indicated, "More than." I'll return for the Bakery! Not sure about the Deli?“
“Amazing bistro/cafe. So happy to have come across it today. My daughter had a burrito that she said was delicious (and was massive) and I had the Russian burger which was also delicious. We also had a pumpkin latte and a spicy chai. The latte was good and the chai was probably the best one I've ever had. And everyone working there was kind and welcoming. Our new favorite place!“
“Food was fresh and delicious. Loved the authentic Mediterranean style options. Very busy with lots of locals picking up food to-go. Best experience would be to sit at outside tables on pedestrian street and people watch while enjoying a falafel.“
“In from Wisconsin for an event. I’m up early, nothing is really open except Brew Bakers across from my hotel.I wander over, get a cortado and a cold brew, and WOW. Absolutely incredible coffee, blown away. I’d drive from LA weekly just to get coffee from here.Definitely go. It’s the exact small town coffee vibe you want.“
“Grass Valley has two Flour Gardens to choose from. I prefer the atmosphere of the Brunswick location, but the sweet treats, coffee, and food are good both places. The downtown Flour Garden is a go to place to grab coffee and maybe a bagel for breakfast.“
“I’ve been going to Flower Garden for about 20 years and some of my favorite items are I love their blueberry muffins and bagels. The coffee is good too. I met the owner once and she was very kind. Always a chill atmosphere to enjoy your coffee.“
“This is my favorite restaurant in Nevada City. The food is really excellent, the atmosphere, feels like a special occasion, every time, and the staff and owner are the *best part*. We feel very nurtured, and taken care of when we go to this café. Recommending everything five stars. The food is really excellent!Vegetarian options: I get the beyond burger, blue burger that has sautéed onions, blue cheese, brioche bun, and comes with either an amazing salad or fries. It taste like a real burger 100% and is amazing. That salads are really really excellent as well.“
“Very tasty spot in downtown NC. Great atmosphere. Lots of room for outdoor dining. It is a very popular restaurant so there may be a line. I've had a number of the specials like the hummus plate, snap peas and ricotta. I've also had a few pizzas. They are tasty artisanal pizzas. If you're looking for NY pizza, you can go across the street to the pizza joint.“
“This is my favorite coffee shop in Grass Valley. Everything here is completely gluten free and it tastes so good! I also love their maple mushroom chai and lavender matcha. On a hot summer day the iced mint tea is also great.Crinkle cookies and donuts are my favorite - I hope they make more of the elusive maple donuts, I've only ever seen them twice. There is local art and a forest vibe here and I always love to visit just for a break from the day. All of the staff are always super nice. I'm a regular there for sure :)Dietary restrictions: The best place ever for gluten free baked goods! They also have plenty of dairy free options and sugar free drinks. They're very diet conscious so you can always ask them about specific ingredients if you have a preference or allergy.“
