Black Rose | Coffee & Tea is a popular coffee spot in Shasta County, always busy with great service and wonderful brew. The staff is incredibly kind, greeting customers with kindness and making their day. Both locations have the nicest staff, and orders always taste the same with any barista. The coffee is real, not just fake sugary drink menu items with a splash of coffee, and the prices are great. A recommended flavor mix is salted caramel and marshmallow in an iced latte, though next time one might get 1-2 pumps less syrup to taste the espresso better. The line goes quick, and baristas are fast, regularly coming out to the line to take orders and keep everything moving smoothly. They offer fun and themed seasonal drink menus, plus a punch card so every 10th coffee is on the house. The drive thru is a bit on the slow side, but it is what it is when you want better coffee.
