“My buddy and I went to Joes today... I moved back here about 5 years ago, been meaning to hit Joes but haven't till today, my buddy from Sac. wanted to give it a try (he's big on smoking meat and is very good at it). We both really liked the meat, the food is very very good, the Mac and cheese (wasn't on the menu) was delicious!! The amount of food is plenty enough for two large guys that can eat. The best part about this place however is the staff and owner, the girl at the counter overheard me saying I'd like to try their macaroni salad against mine, and even though I ordered the Mac and cheese she still brought me some just to see if I liked it better than my own! the owner then came out asked if the food was edible, great guy, funny. I work in the Bay Area ever week then come home here on the weekends! So many people in the Bay Area nobody sees each other at all. Smokin Joes bbq and places like it are the reason why I choose to call this area home. Keep up the good work.“
“My first time trying out this north side neighborhood eatery. GREAT sandwiches and homemade potato salad. Yum! The pastrami is hot and so was the Reuben. I am going to tell everybody about them. Oh, and Below 32 ice cream is next door. Boom!!!“
“So my friend used this company when he got married in Shasta. We finally got to eat at their restaurant, it was very affordable and tasty! Glad we made the stop towards Oregon, we were able to sit wherever we want and were given menus minutes later. The food came out quite fiarely fast and in big portions! I got the roast beef with au jus which was great and greasy! The gselci fries had all the garlic on the bottom but the best part which surprised me was the clam chowder! It was the best I've had in many places, compares very close to pikes place. We all shared some chili nachos which were fun to share! My group kept gobbling it up. Their menu is so big that it is a bit time consuming to figure out what you want if you haven't predetermined it! Would come back to try other foods!“

“Odell’s is definitely the best BBQ in the Redding area! They have excellent flavor profiles with their sandwiches, I would highly recommend. The Texas Ruben was brilliant and delicious, I hope they bring it back again! The folks behind the counter are lovely and they have a passion for what they’re doing! Often times it’s quite busy, but they’re quick to serve and you don’t have to wait long. You’re going to drive pretty far to find anything better than Odell’s.“
