I grew up eating these bagels and I think they're probably the best I've ever had. Definitely get a berry bagel and a jalapeno cheese (it's spicy!). Anytime I come back to town I make sure to stop in and pick up a dozen to take home and throw in the freezer. A Redding institution and definitely something not to miss out on.

Got breakfast here today and was pleasantly surprised to learn that not only do they have multiple vegetarian options, the bagels are also delicious! The service was wonderful with a sit-down, family atmosphere and the food had such beautiful presentation. You could also tell their fresh squeezed fruit juice was genuinely fresh (we bought it twice).
Definitely give it a try if you haven’t!

Mix the peppers, cheese, etc ingredients IN the dough! Plain white bagels I can buy at grocery, slice and do what you did! Were not good at all. Now I have crappy bagels that won't keep and containers of cream cheese waiting for a decent bagel. Grapefruit juice is special though! 😁
