We had take out so I won't rate atmosphere but that is the best Chinese food I have ever had. It was late so we were lucky to get dinner there. I'm sure they were not excited to see my husband walk in. Thank You

Let me start off with saying I haven't had this place sense I moved away from redding in 2017, I'm visiting family and this was my first place I went to out to eat. It still taste just like I remember. I always get the combo #C, the egg foo young is very tasty, the rice is cooked great and the chow mein is just right, my daughter loves the crab puffs and I usually end up getting a second order just for her.I felt really bad for the young lady who was working the counter, looked like shes been there 12 straight hours.. she had an amazing attitude for being short staffed all day and kept a smile which makes me glad they can still make amazing food, have a smile and have great service all while being under pressure. Props to all the current staff, they've been making great food sense I can remember. Try this place out! It might just be your new favorite spot!
China Kitchen is a hidden gem, the absolute best Chinese restaurant in Redding! The service was excellent. We had a huge order, and it was ready so quickly! The folks there were very nice, and the restaurant was cozy and inviting. And the food was SO GOOD! Everything was absolutely delicious, and arrived from the kitchen fresh and warm. China Kitchen cannot be beat. If you love Chinese food, go here!

We enjoyed the food we ordered. The food was hot, fast, and the service was courteous. We did a walk in order and got our food to go. The restaurant itself is small and outdated, but that didn't affect our experience. The items we ordered were simple as were our expectations. We had the Wor Wonton Soup, House Fried Rice, and Crab Cheese puffs. The food we've had at other "Chinese" restaurants in town has been bad lately, so we thought we'd try another place and we happy with what we got. I'd try it again.

We have patronized China Kitchen for quite a few years. We have had to remind ourselves that when you have a "winner", don't change horses. We tried one Chinese restaurant in Anderson and also one on Hilltop and have not had the quality or satisfaction that we get from China Kitchen. Today we had "beef with broccoli and sweet and sour chicken and chicken chop suey" and everything was hot and delicious. It's a good place to go instead of spending your money at Arby's Barf, or Booger King or Mc Nothing. China Kitchen, good food, fair prices too.

Litterally so bad!!!!!! I never write a review even being disappointed . But this was just nasty 40$ wasted . And multiple trips to the toilet this morning . From only a few bites of food . DO NOT COME HERE

The fried rice on the combo meal was terrible, unseasoned, no chicken or veggies in chicken fried rice? The server was incredibly rude when we mentioned it wasn’t good and took it personally. She seemed to be mad to do her job. It was overall a really bad experience, customer service was awful and food was mediocre at best. The combo plate was awful. The table next to us got a combo meal taken off there bill because of the same reason but when we asked they were incredibly rude. when we proceeded to use the bathroom before we left we walked out to them blatantly talking about how “we were pigs, loud, and should’ve told them sooner” The bathroom was disgusting, health department needs to visit badly. The tables were sticky and gross, and it smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in months. overall it’s a disgrace to restaurants in general. Can’t believe this place is allowed to be open still. I’m appalled at the terrible customer service and directly confrontational management. 5 of the people at our table work in food industry and take pride in it, we all agreed we were thoroughly disappointed and frankly upset with the way we were treated.
