CoCo Mongolian Grill & Sushi

Food was good, the line was long, at around 5:30 to 6:30pm. The service was poor. Im.not sure what was going on, but it seemed untypical. Others around us seemed to be having good service, but we were overlooked numerous times. I had to go ask for our appetizers, and again for our rice bowls.
The margarita was brought our table while we were in the food line, and when we got back over 20 minutes later, there was no ice in the drink and it was warm.
A very similarplace to eat is at Hulu's in Chico. Same food, better service, though last time we are there it felt more like a cafeteria. The atmosphere at CoCos is better.

Mongolian is always good! I can't complain about the food literally, It's fresh vegetables and meat, and you pick what goes on the plate. If you don't like it, you are a bad picker. It is literally your custom dish, designed by you.

Do not eat at cocos. They have bugs in their peanuts and everything is cross contaminated. Saw the owner and old lady yell at the waitresses in front of customers. There were also dead roaches near the food counter and bathroom.

Great experience. Don't eat anything you don't want. Eat as much as much as you do want. Cooked right in front of you.

Really like this place. The atmosphere is nice and cozy but spacious. The service here is amazing, making sure all your needs are met and your water is always full, our waitress didn't miss anything! Two appetizers and a bowl of rice came before we even went for a first round at the grill. Lots of fresh choices to choose from with several different meats to endless veggies and lots of sauce. Then there is the fresh sushi made right on the spot.

Amazing food!! I loved the restaurant it’s always clean and spotless and the grill is always cleaned properly and the food was just amazing and delicious!!! I highly recommend this place for parties or a get together dinner

The staff is always so sweet and attentive, I've never waited long for anything and the food is always amazing! I leave feeling stuffed and satisfied with leftovers for the next day.

Clean restaurant, fresh ingredients, and incredible flavor. You build your bowl, choose your sauces, and they cook it to perfection right in front of you.

The egg flower soup threw me off at first… but three sips later? Gone. Egg rolls were cream cheese–filled — unexpected, but delicious. Staff kept our drinks full and checked in regularly.

Only complaint?
I didn’t bring a bigger stomach.

I’m always skeptical of places like this because I’m such a picky eater. But I enjoyed everything. The service here is amazing. All the ladies are very polite and cultured. I got an order on the grill to go. I filled up my bowl with what I wanted and gave it to the chef and he was perfect. They boxed it up for us and we were out of there in less than 10 minutes. It looks like a cute little spot for a quick dinner date. I put about 6 different sauces on my food and it was amazing. It really is true that you can’t use too much sauce here. Thank you to everyone that works here. I will be back. Spent $21 for a bowl that was worth every dollar!!

Not sure why but it's just better than the next day. I think because the noodles end up soaking up the juice overnight.
