If you want a small-town feel, great tasting organic food, AND a cool place to study or visit with friends this place is perfect. I know the owners and they are a sweet family and Redding locals are lucky to have them. Check out their fall menu- super yummy drinks and food inspired by fall.
Quick, friendly and good coffee. We came in near the end of their day and it was a little dirty, but the folks behind the counter were still working hard so i figure they were just really busy.

But not Redding, though. We are for a totally different reason in Redding. And, oh boy, let me tell you how surprised I was when we found Evergreen. Man! One of the best Ethiopian single-origin beans and roast I have ever tasted! Not in Cologne, Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca....
