ADIOS, SORRY TO SAY Get ready for some funky smelling meat, flavorless beans and odd tastes and odors coming from, of all things, the fountain drink machine. Their usually awesome crinkle-cut fries, tragically, were severely undercookedâtruly unforgivable, no excuses allowed. The tiny street tacos, too, are highly un-recommended, to put it kindly, and, due to their sparseness would be a horrible value even if they didn't suck. Their basic crispy tacos were still passable, but for two bucks-fifty you'd expect a bit more flavorâyou know, like back in the âgood old daysâ (say, 2019). And it says a lot when a Mexican food chain's tastiest menu item is the cheeseburger! Surprisingly busy when we were there, and this was during the traditional down time between the lunch and dinner hoursâso they must be doing something right, one would guess. We saw scant evidence of this on our visit, however. Hopefully, it was just an off-day for this eatery. But you'll excuse us if we won't be taking a chance again any time soon. In conclusion: For great Mexican food in Redding, your best bet is to ask a friend for recommendationsâthen get ready to roll the dice. This town ain't exactly a Mecca of quality ethnic cuisine, after all. Plus, these just-off-the-interstate places are always a bit iffy anyway, including the chains. AVOID

Manager was rude being disrespectful about customers that were in the Drive-Thru while I'm standing at the counter waiting for my food they don't give me my complete order I have to drive back which ordinarily is fine they don't apologize they don't say anything they just hand me the food say here you go ice machine wasn't working straws weren't stocked just generally poor
I visited this Del Taco and would give it two stars. The bathrooms were locked up tighter than a drum and, when I finally got access, they were disappointingly dirty. The dining room wasnât any betterâtables were sticky, and the floor had visible grime. The food was okay, standard Del Taco fare, nothing exceptional but not terrible either. Honestly, the state of the place probably has more to do with the rough area than the restaurant itself, but it still made for a less-than-pleasant experience.

My order was filled incorrectly. After two failed attempts at it being corrected, I gave up. Staff was indifferent. Food was bland, avocado brown.

I go here pretty regularly, gotta double check you have everything before you drive off. And the food looks thrown (literally) together, but it's still one of my favorite fast food spots here.
Walked in after a long day at work at 8:45 I placed my order. The manager then tells the person working at the front counter tell them they have to take their food to go they can't eat it here. Apparently they wanted to close the lobby. They closed the lobby behind me at 8:50 pm. Yeah I probably won't come back here. Left without my order. Places like this don't get my business. This happened March 6th 2025. That manager should be fired. This is NOT how you treat your customers.
