Great food. Haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but I'm working on it. I don't eat coleslaw, but my kids said it was some of the best they've had. Chicken and pork ribs are fire. You need to try it 🤤
Awesome. This place is always the highlight of my sunday at the farmers market.
Stopped in Redding for lunch on the way back from fly fishing camp. Saw the name Fat Daddy’s and it sounded good. Man the pulled pork sandwich was better than most in Texas. Great food, great man with an awesome beard behind the counter, cool atmosphere and short wait for food. Definitely coming back next time I’m in the area.
My kids and I went in there today for lunch while we waited for my other daughter to get out of school and when I say the food was AMAZING I don't even feel like that sings it's praise enough! My son rarely finishes an entire plate of food and he at an entire meal from Fat daddies and told me the whole way home how much he loved it! The price seems high until you see how big the portions are and the food is so good it leaves u with a very satisfying full instead of feeling like u just ate a bunch of empty calories! 10 outta 10 I highly recommend! I honestly think it's the best BBQ spot in northern California!
This is a real good spot… Food was really good.
Great grub far from disappointing!

Coke was extremely flat, not even a single bubble in it, and they forgot all our sauces that we ordered, and fries were soggy :/
Chicken tenders were not that bad though.

I was passing through Redding and needed to stop and eat somewhere. Ended up with a fantastic pulled pork sandwich and the beans were damn good too. Felt bad not finishing but I tend to get sleepy on long drives, so I ate half and saved the rest for later. Having finished that second half, I can truly say I had a divine experience here. Friendly dudes behind the counter as well.

Food is not bad but it is very small portions. The garlic bread was burnt, and the bbq beans were beyond garlicky. Which I love garlic so I'm surprised I feel that way. The potato wedges were by far the best side but I only got 5 in my serving. The meat was okay but it's just slathered in bbq sauce not really seasoned. I got the big daddy fat meal which sounds like it would be big especially costing around 18$. It was not even enough food to fill up my 13 year old. The tri tip meal comes with 5 slices of tri tip that are a little larger than a silver dollar. The owner was nice and super friendly but it was not worth the trade off of having to go purchase a second dinner.

I started coming here 18 years ago when I worked for the Marine recruiters. Just as good today as it was back then. Tri tip sandwich and fries is my go to.
