From The Hearth Kitchen and Pie Shop - College View

Love from the Hearth, College view is my go to. Friendly people, great food. However, wifi over the last weeks has been non existant. Nobody can connect. I'm now finding myself new places to hang out. Wish they would sort that.

This is actually the first time I had ate in. Most of the staff is very nice. I was seated in the two-seater that is right by where the food is put up. I feel the need to mention the amount of flies that landed on the food. I told one of the young men but he said "that there was nothing they could do". I apologize but I am not a Karen. Having worked in restaurants on my life, I would really like to make a suggestion. A mesh cloche, they're available in many places, Amazon carries a variety of colors and sizes. It would only take maybe two three extra seconds to cover it up. I went ahead and told one of the employees so they could pass it on to the manager. He didn't seem very interested so I thought maybe I would pass it on. It was really kind of gross to watch. Your food is too delicious to let fly as ruin it. I imagine the people from across the room couldn't tell, but just seeing that I really couldn't eat there again.

Awful customer service, order taker can’t even say hello, looked super impatient to take my order and turned and walked away when I was done. Just bad customer service

It can get a little cramped in the front of house, but the food makes it worth it.

Great place to grab lunch or an easy post gym dinner. The salads are great, the BBQ chicken and the texas steak salads are my go to. The Chimichurri tacos are tasty, the rice bowls are good. Lots of healthy options and good food. You can also grab a breakfast burrito or a burger. There’s something for everyone. The app makes it easy to place To Go orders. 10/10 recommend.

Bethel owned only needed gas on the way home from shasta

I bought the food for my daughter so I didn’t eat it, however Maggie was a joy to have as a customer service representative! Very helpful in making my selection and patient with me?. That is not a quality you see these days. Thank you, Maggie.

We visit Redding often and have tried several restaurants. Most restaurants in Redding are the same. Lousy food in a ugly area. This Hearth Kitchen & Pie Shop has excellent food. Excellent service. Fair prices in a Nice atmosphere. Excellent place if you're looking for a healthier food choice. Good Kombucha. Highly recommend. When we visit Redding in the future this restaurant will be our permanent go to.

This place was great! We came here for brunch after church at Bethel. We ordered the breakfast burrito, California omelet, French toast, and two iced dirty chais. Everything was very flavorful, fresh and delicious! We will definitely be back!

This was the second time my sister and I came here for her birthday. The food is excellent and I love the little cakes. Perfect for single serve birthday lunch. The employees are friendly and helpful.
