New China was my go-to Chinese place always very hot and delicious. The last two times I went was displeased with the food. I ordered fried rice which wasn't even fried it was plain white rice with a little soy sauce and very few vegetables. Mia fun had hardly any vegetables and was almost tasteless. The egg foo young was just about all vegetables and only two very small pieces of egg foo young I could barely find it under the vegetables. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I'm not sure if they got a new cook or just trying to pinch pennies.

I stop at this place every time I stop in redding. The staff even knows I get the d1 with sauce on the side haha. Great price good portions and very friendly place. Food comes fast. The staff checks on you to make sure everything is good. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Wor won ton soup was greasy, and very few won tons.
The food is great, large portions! The staff is SO friendly and service is quick. The restaurant and bathroom are very clean and tidy. We will definitely be back.

I have never had such bad food I literally can't eat it The chicken was full of a jelly substance and soggy the foiled wrapped chicken looked like liver and tasted like beef broth. The rice was un consumable. Straight to the trash. Must be a new cook. I post pictures but this app doesn't have that option

Tonight we tried New China Two, one of two locations in the Redding area. I’m gonna Segway for a bit and say, since my family and I relocated to Redding 8 months ago we’ve been very excited about trying new food spots, preferably local mom and pops in the area and New China Two has really pushed the bar high for me personally. I’ll say that their service is exceptional!! Top notch! You feel very appreciated as a paying customer and besides that they seem to carry a sense of pride for the food they serve and for good reason, it was incredible! And I couldn’t believe the price for what we received. We pay more for a family of four for some local fast food chains than we did for New China and the food was far superior. The family and are pretty excited to have had this and it’s right around the corner from home, which means take out! ? You design peeps will enjoy a very China inspired decor which was pretty cool with calming Chinese music in the background, great ambience!
All in all, everything was better then expected and I highly recommend New China two, even if you’re traveling along I-5 and you get the Chinese food craving, do you’re self a solid and swing by and give em a try! Happy eating!

This was the second time we have been there. We have always been impressed with the cleanliness of the establishment , my wife said we could eat off of the floor! The service was beyond excellent, so friendly. The food was so fresh and tasteful. This is now our go to Chinese restaurant in Redding. We would highly recommend that you try it.
