I go here at noon on Friday, March 21, 2025, and there is no one around, albeit they are advertised to be open at 11:00 AM. First time here, and the last.

Bartender added more tip to my tip on my credit card. His name is Gary, I left him $6 on a $27 bill , this is over 20% .

It was entered as $10 on my credit card 😬 ! Please check your credit statement.

I was instantly greeted by a friendly waitress who let me pick my place to eat. Drink was out fast and was ready to order food. I ordered the firecracker fish tacos, which came out timely. They were delicious, probably the best I've had. Was a very pleasant dinner but pretty pricey.

Not to be an a-hole, but traveling to Redding for work is not ideal, not stoked about it one bit. Also, not to be an a-hole wasn’t expecting good food here at the hotel. Went down to the Garden Grill at the hotel and ordered an open face caprese sandwich. It’s was really good, the fries were super crispy too. The sandwich tasted super fresh. Pleasantly surprised. I’ll be making this at home for the family. Thanks!

The view of the river out the back of the hotel is beautiful, but as others have noted, the hotel is fairly shabby. The beds are nice and the room okay, but I was very disappointed that the pool has about three feet of nasty water in it. I had been looking forward to taking a swim.

We had no idea where to stay in Redding and picked the Garden Inn for its location right on the Sacramento River, of which our room had a nice view. (Costs extra but worth it.) the staff were all helpful and efficient and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The Garden Inn needs a makeover at this point and there was a notice that it was underway. The restaurant is bright, cheerful and quite nice.

The staff at this hotel were extremely welcoming and courteous. I would visit again, but the hotel needed to be updated. The heater was very loud, other then that I enjoyed my stay.Staff at the desk, waitresses I really appreciate all of them.

Check in and check out was fast and efficient. Jordan, Katelin and Jacqueline were three outstanding employees at the front desk that answered all our questions. They were very personal and courteous. Had breakfast in the restaurant and the food and service was spot on. Great variety of items to choose from. Server, Cathy, was very efficient and friendly. Our room was clean and quiet. All in all, it was a great experience. The next time we are in Redding, California. Looking forward to staying there again.

This hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet and I highly recommend it. My one and only complaint is the light leakage in the rooms. They don't have the same type of shades that the Hilton Garden inn in Medford Oregon has. If they did you wouldn't have nearly the problems having to cover everything up with a towel in order to be able to sleep. The staff here are wonderful, warm welcoming. Try to help you as best they can so everything else is recommended. It's just the light leakage
