I'm rating them as ok based on first impressions. My husband ordered breakfast (an omelet and hash browns) it was fine. I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich. I've had REALLY good hot pastrami sandwiches in my day. Maybe that's why this one was so disappointing ?? The description made mention of the pastrami "piled high" on the roll. It was not. It seemed pretty skimpy to me, and wasn't great quality. The server we had was super low energy, almost like he'd rather not be there. We're always very friendly regardless, but even so we barely got a smile out of himBased on this experience, I definitely wouldn't order the same sandwich, but it's just one of many items on the menu, and the server one of several. Maybe, if there's a next time it'll be better all around.

Welcome to the Johnny rockets or a rocking cafe wannabe. They are trying way too hard. The service was amazing. They should take some of that decor ambition and put it into their food. At least it will be decent then. This was horrible. One star if I can give it lower I would. The food was burnt completely and over greased. Check the pictures below. If I wanted burnt food I would have just stayed home and had my daughter try to cook food for me. At least she does it. With love.

The hilltop diner is, for all intents and purposes, just the direct continuation of Marie Calendar’s. The menu is identical, the service is just as bad, and the food is equally as low tier to average at best. The only thing that Hilltop Diner does better is the atmosphere, which was changed from “budget Olive Garden” to “upbeat and happy 50s diner vibes”.Stay away from this place, it’s a dying breed of restaurant just like Marie Calendars was. Which is why it’s only got 2 servers working at any given time with an empty dining room for only the most dedicated.

If I could just live here I would lol. Soo many wicked nice people- like genuinely nice, kind and just happy. I also experienced the best sandwich of my life- the Hot Club Knuckle Sandwich. One of the most AMAZING things I've eaten ever. I would marry this sandwich. Fries were off the charts yummy. My teenage daughter who hates everything inhaled the tri tip gladly. Score.
Wheelchair accessibility: Totally open, easy to maneuver inside. Plenty of space between tables and options for wheelchair seating. I personally use a service dog for mobility assistance- even my great Dane had room to maneuver. And that's 36"+ in length. Like driving a semi truck lol

I should have taken the reviews more seriously. I ordered the Pastrami Buger with no onions or tomato, 30 minutes later I was told they were out of Pastrami. I replied "just bring me what I ordered minus Pastrami". 20 minutes later I received a cheeseburger WITH onions and tomato. It also had cheddar cheese instead of the Swiss cheese the Pastrami burger comes with. The burger patty was overcooked and cold. It was the worst burger I've tried to eat in a long time. They should be ashamed to serve food like this. When I paid the didn't return my credit card, I had to wait another 10 minutes to get my card back.

Waitress was an absolute sweetheart ? but food was terrible
The waiter had a good attitude but forgot a few things a couple times. The food was overcooked, the salad in the salad bar was withered and the "fresh" fruit was old, tasted terrible and had some discoloration. Our food came out very slowly and some were incorrect. I ordered the parmesan crusted bun with my burger and I was last to get my meal and it was without the correct bun. I asked for the correct bun and it came back to me sprinkled with parmesan cheese and cooked twice. The pickles on my burger had cinnamon (which I'm deadly allergic to) and the ranch was watered down twice. It was as pourable as my ice tea!I went with some family that was visiting from out of town and it was a huge disappointment. We won't be back to this diner. It was terribly disappointing!

Me and my family went there for dinner today and we waited a hour for our food and when it came out it was cold and not even worth trying my fresh toast was green and cold and my egg were uncooked and my hash brown were cold my grandma food was cold her steak was cold and hard and not cooked my cousin food was bad too I would not recommend going to this place because of how bad it was you think we would get a warning that our food would be late but no the sever was mean they gave us a fry pie hoping it would make us feel better but the pie was bad too
