Buffet food and the setting at this place is super good. i had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. the bill was fair i would say.
Overcooked meats, underflavored sides, crusty/old tasting cakes. The red velvet cake has crunchy sides like it had been sitting out since yesterday. The mashed potatoes tasted clearly boxed. Lunch ends at 4:00 and dinner charge is $13.99 for an adult. This is far too much per person for the quality of food they serve here. The women's bathroom is absolutely disgusting (see pictures) and was out of tp in one of the stalls. Our server was efficient if a bit slower than expected for a large building with only ten tables occupied.
Went to go eat here today only to find it shutdown and the sign off the side of the building.
This Place CLOSED! I tried calling and found out they already auctioned off everything!
Terrible business ethics. They shut down their restaurant and didn't even have the common decency to give proper notice to their employees. I am fairly certain that the CEO and other employees higher up will receive some sorta severance pay/package. Awful. Awful. Awful. Not to mention the food their is terrible and prices are to high.
Brought my family of 5 here & the cashier was extremely rude & then charged me extra for to go cups when I told her I didn't want them. The food was disgusting. Decided to give it one more try & they were closed for good, no warning even to the employees.
Traveling through town and stopped in despite the reviews. Not at all what we expected. The restaurant was very clean and the food was good. Expected mediocre at best, so we were pleasantly surprised. The lady serving us, Lori, was very pleasant and extremely efficient at keeping our table free of dirty dishes. We will stop in again next time we are in town.
Pricey considering what you can really eat, but it is clean and service staff does a fine job of getting your group seated and fed. A great variety of familiar comfort foods and even the occasional surprise so there's always something for everyone. Great for large groups wanting a disparate menu choice and fun for try-this-try-that sampling. Nice salad choices and pretty good desserts too.
It's nice clean, food is good. lost some dishes here but basic all you can eat is still around. The manager always helpful
As always, HomeTown Buffet is a good place to bring large groups and/or families due to the variety of foods, clean facility and open seating. The employees are always very friendly and attentive, and assisting with whatever we may need to improve our evening. Very cost effective and relaxed atmosphere.

Breakfast is definitely a good choice here on the weekends, but I can't imagine coming here for the dinner for any reason other to cater to large party's or pickey eaters, the meals may be the same price as going out, but the quality is definitely of its own volition. Eat here at your own expense!
good food, great staff at a decent price.
HomeTown buffet is a pretty great place to get an all-you-can-eat style meal. My wife does not particularly like it, but I find it pretty decent. A lot of people say it's a little overpriced but I don't mind it so much. For the most part they did a pretty good job at keeping the place stocked with food throughout the day. Go check it out for yourself though.
My husband and I hadn't been here in around 10 years and found it not the same quality of food and service it was before. Must admit we usually went on Sunday after church and our visit was on Memorial Day, so that may explain why.
Hometown is what you expect. Stopped in for lunch, most of the hot food was just warm and the desserts were okay. Best part of the meal was the ice cream.
