Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced anywhere. Obviously the place will be busy on a Saturday night at 5pm. I knew I was pulling into a long line. No complaints there. Finally my time to order. My wife and I are doing carnivore so I ordered 12 patties, mustard fried. One cheeseburger with just ketchup and a fry for my daughter. And 6 slices of cheese.
Cheese- $.54
Patties- $1.35
Didn’t itemize the cheeseburger or fries.
The total rang up to over $43. WHATTTTTT
I get to the window to pay, politely ask for an explanation of how we get to $43. Keep in mind I’ve ordered this same order prior and it’s usually around $25.
The cashier couldn’t give me an explanation other than 6 slices of cheese is totaling to $18. Needless to say that didn’t make any sense at all and I explained that $3 for a slice of cheese just doesn’t make sense. A “manager” named Austin came over, restructured my order to reflect the correct price. I pay for the order. Go to the next window to pick up and am told by Austin “here is half your order, please wait out front and we will bring you the rest of it”
No big deal
10 minutes goes by and I’m growing annoyed at this point as I’m nearing the 1 hour mark
I go inside to figure out what is going on and I get greeted with “oh your order is right, have a nice night. Here’s a gift card I guess for a meal”.
Mind you I am in for 1 hour of my time at this point. I decide that I would just assume a refund and return the food at this point. (Never have I done that before). The customer service was so bad I returned fast food. Mind blowing. There was zero explanation as to why I was told to go wait out front for 10 minutes then to be told everything was actually there. At this point I ask to speak to a manager, out comes Austin. Again. And he just blankly stares at me with no justification of why I just got burnt on an hour of my time and now will be going somewhere else and waiting even longer rather than returning home with 30 minute cold food.
No offer to remake my order. Nothing besides a “comped meal”.

Have patronized in n out for decades since they’ve been in Redding but I will never step foot in this franchise again.
Still never got an explanation why they tried charging $18 for 6 slices of cheese. Still never received an explanation why I was asked to “wait out front” for 10 minutes. Would they have eventually came out had I not grown impatient? Doubt it.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Beware of the green chillies, they have a bit of a kick but Oh so tasty. Especially when you add it to your 3x3 animal style burger. Yummy
Parking: Lunch and dinner and the midnight "whatever they call that meal/snack people go there for after dinner rush" can cause the parking to be a bit tight cause their drive-thru weaves through the parking lot but it is in-n-out burger so it is a fast drive thru so not too bad and so worth it.

I don't eat here because I'm a vegetarian but my son does and he likes the special fries they have that aren't on the menu. The prices are extremely low compared to everywhere else and there is always a long line in the drive thru and the parking lot is always full. So I would recommend trying this place

We always stop for a burger when we get home from flying our plane cross-country. This trip, we flew up to Missoula, MT, to check in on our granddaughter who just started at UofM. We had a 5 guys burger when we arrived up there as they have no in and out. The burgers at in answer out are always consistently delicious and we love them.

This place was everything you would expect from in-n-out. Good cheap burgers and fries. Friendly staff, although a little disturbing in my opinion having a gender confused individual taking my order, and short wait times even though the place was super busy as usual. We had to wipe our own table but other than that the food was good
Everything from the tables to the bathroom was filthy. 98% of the tables inside were covered in food. They did not want to clean them we went to get wet paper towels just to sit and eat.
