I dined in at Jack in the Box - 800 E Cypress Ave on Christmas Day, and overall I’m giving this three stars, mainly because the service itself was good, especially considering how understaffed they appeared to be. From what I could tell, there were only about three employees total, and despite that, the staff were polite and did their best. Given the circumstances, I honestly think the issues I experienced are management-level problems, not employee problems. The food was actually really good for the price. I paid around $10, which felt like a solid deal. The chicken was decent, and the curly seasoned fries were honestly awesome — easily the highlight of the meal. Flavor-wise, I was satisfied. Where this location struggles is cleanliness and overall presentation. The restroom was dirty, and there were multiple locks on doors, which suggests ongoing issues. I’m not blaming staff for that — it looks like there may be recurring problems with vandalism or misuse, which is unfortunately common in the area. Still, that doesn’t change how it feels as a customer. The building itself looks worn down. A deep clean, some exterior upkeep (windows, roof, paint), and a slightly more open, inviting layout inside would make a huge difference. Even adding one or two more staff per shift would likely fix a lot of the wait-time and organization issues. I’ll also say this: even though this location is closer, I usually end up going to nearby places like Del Taco, Taco Bell, or even McDonald’s across the street — not because the food is better, but because those places feel cleaner, faster, and more consistent. This location absolutely has potential. If I came back and it was clean, well-staffed, better maintained, and more inviting, I’d have no problem giving it five stars. The staff and food are already doing their part — now it needs proper support and upkeep.

Went to the drive through to order breakfast.They informed me that they were out of hash browns, which was fine.They said that I could choose a sub, so I asked what they were offering, and she told me.But then she also informed me that I would have to pay extra.Why should I pay extra for something that they're subbing when they're out of what I wanted. Makes absolutely no sense.Needless to say, I did not place an order and I left. Won't go back if that's how they're gonna treat customers.

Don’t understand the kiosk. All I wanted was an iced tea and I only had cash. The young man with the headphones on rolled his eyes and didn’t wanna wait on me. Very rude to every person that didn’t want to use the kiosk. Why are we walking inside to get food and get such rude service? This was the Jack-in-the-Box in Dunnigan on Sunday at 12:45 PM.

Owner- and now a drunk woman answers the phone 8/2/25 at 7:24. the young man answering the phones 7/28/25 should be fired. He sounds like he’s on drugs and is extremely rude. Raquel is an excellent manager and deserves a raise. Kane also deserves a raise 🤑🥰😉
Great survice fast drive through. And there hamburgers are made the way there supposed to be. Also even if the burger you want is not on the menu they will make it for you anyway.
